Awful! Just absolutely awful. I asked employee about gluten free options. I was told they have none. After about 30m and reading on the website stating that there are in fact options available at this location I went to another employee and asked. He told me that they do not have GF options. When I let him know the web says they have gluten free options he told me they are out. I asked for a manager so I could confirm as the man did not seem to know what he was talking about. I showed him the menu and the area that gluten free is highlighted and he said they are out again and he would grab the manager. I waited and eventually a lady came up to me. I explained the situation, That 30m prior I had asked a female employee and she said they have nothing. Then came back after viewing the website and asked the gentleman and he said no options then that they were out. I showed her on the menu where it says GF is labeled and that it appears there are options and that I wanted to confirm that they were out. She pointed to the menu at the GF label and then at the salads and said this is what we have that is GF she said it in a very sarcastic tone. I asked her If they are out of salads and she laughed at me and said "No we aren't out of salad!!" I asked her if she would please provide the employees with training so they can provide accurate answers when asked if they have GF. She again laughed at me and said that maybe I should just learn how to read and walked away. I spend over an hour looking for GF only to find out that there are in fact 2 salads available that are GF. I was treated very poorly by every single person I encountered at this location. I understand that airport's are busy. I understand accommodations are sometimes impossible to provide. I do not understand being treated the way I was treated especially being laughed at. My daughter has Celiac, she is 9 and just wants to eat what other kids eat and our flight was delayed 5 hours. All things that are stressful alone but put them together and add 2 uneducated employees and 1 VERY rude "mamager" you end up just wanting to cry. So, Thank you Sammy's for making this day that much...
Read moreThis was actually a traumatizing experience. I had my wallet stolen while visiting in Vegas so my brother let me use his card so I could have some form of payment. While waiting for my flight I unfortunately stopped here. When it came time to pay, the bartender saw the male name and rightfully questioned me. He said he is calling his manager to see what we could do as that was my only form of payment. The manager hostilely approached me acting as if I’m a thief and said that I will “definitely not be getting the credit card back”. I pleaded with him as I had no other way to pay for anything during my travels. He then demands my identification as if he’s a officer of the law, and snatched my passport. Him and the bartender were discussing, examining my information, and writing things down. I can’t even begin to tell you how inappropriate and invasive this is. It’s one thing to refuse to take the payment, it’s another thing to hold a patrons belongings hostage, and store their personal information. This also leads me to wonder if I’m being scammed. These strangers now have all of my passport information and my brothers credit card information. This airport restaurant manager needs to recognize his place and be careful because by keeping that card he could be open to have identity theft charges on himself. Before you go around trying to be powerful, educate yourself on how to associate with people, and the law. You are a private citizen, you don’t get to steal another persons belongings or information. You stole my personal information, and attempted to steal my brothers credit card. Get help, and educate yourself....
Read moreJust finished dining here since I had a layover. I ordered lobster bisque soup and thought I was eating large chunks of lobster but instead found myself wating something that wasnt lobster at all!
It was some weird mystery meat type almost like pork and very dark in color. Not lobster at all! The waitress (Tara) was responsive, took it away and was instantly disgusted herself, but the manager (short balding man) came over and just looked at me. I could tell he had no idea what was going on then I asked him "Did she show you the food?" he said no.
After explaining what happened he asked me "did you eat it?" I said "initially yes because it was in the soup so I assumed that lobster bisque meant I was eating small bits of lobster. It wasnt until I got to the bottom to a large chunk that was clearly not lobster"
He said "Oh yeah, I'm sure another piece of meat got in there somehow, sorry about that. Do you want something else?"........
What... the... heck do you mean another piece of meat just "got in there SOMEHOW??!?!??!??!"
I said "No thank you" and THEN said he'd take it off. My waitress later told me it was bacon.... Y'all... I can't even.... I don't recommend this place. If you do, maybe just go to the bar and dine with caution. Cuz, you know. Bacon or goodness know what else may just 'happen upon' your dish.. Very large and thick bacon posing as lobster for example... Cuz that's what happens at...
