An odd review.

We left an iPhone on a plane which landed in Las Vegas. We knew where the phone was as we had Find iPhone app and it was showing us a picture. We explained and explained to the Southwest representatives on multiple phone calls. We knew where it was. Across from Ethel M Chocolates. It was probably picked up off the plane and given to the Southwest person at the check-in and they probably put it in a drawer 'for later.''"

Out of desperation we called Ethel M's and the person who answered the phone ensured there was coverage for the shop and walked over to the gate, tried to deal with the representative "boarding a plane," asked and talked to a supervisor, found the phone and over-nighted it to us.

Really?

Really. We talked for 2 days with Southwest, but they couldn't move: "it's has to be turned in; we can't go look for it." Really? "Look for it?" It's at the gate across from Ethel M's.

I stopped at this location in the Las Vegas airport and had the most delightful experience. The chocolate was amazing! It has that satisfying snap when you bite into it, a silky-velvety smooth texture, and incredible flavor. But for me the real star was the saleslady, Sumiko. She was friendly and engaged. Asked me about my chocolate preferences, praised my choices, and even gave me a couple extra samples. It was a really refreshing interaction after a long, long day of travel (10+ hour layover!) and so many experiences where I felt I was treated like a number or a problem—she made me feel like a human being again and just brought a bit of much-needed sunshine to my day.
