Sammy's Pastrami and Burgers — Restaurant in Nevada

I wish I didn't have to give any stars because I was extremely disappointed. I was looking at the menu at home because my husband wanted to try this place and I couldn't beleive my eyes everything seemed like it would be very good and I thought man if this food is good I could try something different Everytime and I figured it would be great because they showed that they were known by food Network, review journal and so on. We drove down there and the appearance was not good at all but I told myself this is a hole in the wall and all the hole in the walls that I've eaten at had awesome food. Well we walked there was only one person working and she was helping customers so we had to wait behing the customers until she was done so we can get a menu. We told her it was our first time there and all she said was well look at the menu and let me know when your ready. We looked at the menu and right when I got in line I heard her tell another customer that they won't have pulled pork until Tuesday so I told my husband you have to find something else because there is no pulled pork. So when he figured out what we wanted I stood at the counter for about 15mins before she came to the counter because she was cooking. I asked the lady if I could have melted cheddar cheese on my pastrami combo sandwich and she said yes then I asked her what comes with the combo and she said fries and you can only get lemonade for your drink cause that is all they have for drinks. The price was almost $40.Then we waited about 30 mins for our food then we tried the lemonade and it had a sweet bitter old taste to it so we couldn't drink it.We got home to eat and u opened my box and noticed White cheese on my sandwich and I had to have my husband taste it because I'm allergic the Swiss and had to make sure it wasn't Swiss but it turned out to be provolone but I ordered cheddar. The pastrami was over cooked on one side and undercooked on the other side it had so much mustard on it and the Polish sausage just tasted like it was boiled instead of grilled like it said on the menu so the taste on the sandwich was not good at all. My husband opened his up and he emptied his onion rings in his container and they looked disgusting they were over battered and was not cooked all the way so they were e like mush and had no seasoning and he had about 5 and those costed $5.75. Then he tried his steak burger and it was saturated in grease and there was no flavor and it was supposed to have steak sauce and it did not. Dear owner of the establishment!!!! stop using your profits for personal use and sink some money into that building you're one rainstorm away from having black mold from the leaking roof and having your building and business shut down! Your drive-thru is absolutely pathetic, the menu is missing! you can see parts were the roof is completely missing and it's exposed the roof sheathing plywood. the building is all around disgusting and if somebody called the health code on this place and walked in there on the day I did they would shut it down within that hour. Let's talk about the food, the food was absolutely delicious it was phenomenal it was a big burger for the money that it cost. the online menu said the burger that I bought was $11.99 when I got there the menu said that it was $12.99. false advertisement is completely sueable. as far as I know I spoke with your employee who was a wonderful lady she said she's asked you to update the menu she says that she's asked you to fix some of these things including the window that is made of plywood because you don't know how to put in a security system. I'm willing to bet my bottom dollar says the cameras that are there don't even have wires coming out of them and aren't even hooked to anything. The building inside and out in the aesthetics of the whole situation scream out loud that the owner of this establishment does not care about their business and only cares about the money to business brings which says it doesn't /he doesn't care about his customers. The food was worth going back again and I'm going to continue to go back but if something is not done by the end of this summer I will be making a phone call to some places this owner does not want me to make those phone calls the roof is leaking you can tell by looking at the ceiling inside of the establishment which brings black mold black mold shuts that business down maybe for good if not for months. owner of this establishment I highly highly recommend you to sync at least 40 to $60,000 into this building before you no longer...

I thought this was an abandoned building, i almost drove past it as one of the windows was busted out! Getting inside I saw only one person was working behind the counter She was the order taker and the cook and she can not see the front desk and can not see the front desk from behind the work station. The inside dining area if one were so adventuresome to call it that, had some people eating food despite the unkempt tables and chairs and busted window. Despite all of this, I ordered because all the advertising inside showed that the location was featured on Food Network, Travel Channel and many other networks. Guy Fieri wouldn't lie to me!!! I ordered the Chicken Basket but was told wings don't come in a basket. when i commented that the menu only says Chicken basket and when i asked whats that difference between chicken in a basket and wings. I was told "the chicken basket has you know, chicken...!" i then asked for my Wings with Buffalo Mild sauce and the young lady then picks up the menu and looks at it as if I ordered something else off the menu that they don't carry! When she sees it on the menu she then finishes taking my order. I ordered the Pastrami Burger and waited... once i got my food i have to say that it was incredibly under average! the wings were not completely cooked, the pastrami was incredibly fatty and was more fat material then meat. and the burger was the only thing halfway decent but tasted like a frozen patty from Smiths. all in all if this is a late night spot you my be able to get away with last call food but during the day when your not drunk, high, or mentally impaired you should keep driving past it, like I...
