The Lodge Shelbourne — Restaurant in Nevada

I love the bartenders and servers esp Amanda and Crystal. The machines have a good payout ratio, doesn't let me get rich but it doesn't just take my money neither. Most of the staff are long term employees who are happy there. But the menu is severely lacking. Food is always good but it hasn't changed in years. They stopped doing daily specials and even took things off the menu like fried pickles (which is one of the easiest things to make... I mean..) and they've never had pizza. The service & atmosphere is excellent. We enjoyed the lodge so much & felt so relaxed. My mother & best friend love the feel & look of the logs. It's a warm & inviting place to enjoy. The food is okay. I had a sandwich which had toasted bread & bacon. The toasted bread was hard as the bacon was also. My best friend's meal was made incorrectly & was not seasoned at all. The waitress did a great job in a crazy, busy all at once environment. I ordered a hamburger medium, but it was served medium well. It was dry, and seemed to be one of those preformed burgers, those tasted as though it had been frozen for quite sometime. It was suppose to be an Angus burger, but it certainly didn't taste like one. My husband and my friends meal was ok. Good temperature on the bar side.
