I think this Winchell's in particular is a delightful donut shop! The staff is always friendly! The store is always clean! They have a restroom and they let customers use it! The most important thing is that the donuts and the coffee are muy Bueno!! Being a native New Yorker naturally I am a connoisseur of food and baked goods. I think I may have already said this, but the store just has the tastiest donuts due to the flavor of the dough they use. There is a pleasing, large selection from donut holes, to regular to HUGE. They actually have jumbo Pineapple fritters as well as the traditional Apple. Items are large and you get plenty of it for your money. The coffee is full bodied and tastes like a donut shop coffee should taste! This freestanding building just a stone's throw away from the Baskin-Robbins is not hard to spot. It is on the northwest corner of Jones and Desert Inn and has indoor and outdoor seating. Do treat yourself to something delicious from this place whether it be a donut ,a breakfast sandwich, deli sandwich, a muffin or even a blended ice drink. You...
Read moreWinchells In definitely the place to go after a long day at work or when you need a break or just crave donuts and coffee! Theyâre a cute little business near Jones, and itâs fun to be there. They sell filled croissants, quesadillas, donuts, bagels, and muffins! They also sell other little things but I canât remember from the top of my head. They go by the bakers dozen here, so if you decide to buy the dozen youâll be getting 14 donuts instead of 12! They have different flavors of donuts as well like churro, gum, and strawberry. The coffee here is regular just like other places but their prices are great too. Itâs always open since itâs 24 hours, 7 days a week so if you crave at 3 am donât worry, winchells is open! I recommend going in the morning though since thatâs when it seems like the food is just recently baked. Oh! Almost forgot, they sell bagel sandwiches, I recommend you try the veggie one! Itâs...
Read moreI am currently explaining to a 4 year old that this employee does not like his JOB and not that the guy dislikes the child. Why? Because even when my girlfriend offered to purchase something, this individual rudely refused to allow the child in question to use the restrooms. A child still in the process of potty training. When I asked for a manager, he aggressively told me to come back in the morning. As he refused to give me his name, I snapped this picture - resulting in said employee threatening to steal my phone. Not sure if this is the standard the company holds its employees to, but I will say that the interest in that new veggie sandwich immediately when faced with this individuals utter lack of customer service or common decency to a child. Never stepping foot in another Winchell's after...
