Captain D's — Restaurant in New Albany

I have a shrimp allergy when I arrived I asked for the staff to change their gloves the manager that was there turned around and said why are you even eating here then I was so mortified and she said it out loud for everyone in the building to hear I then said I'm sorry but I am allergic to shrimp I was ordering Fish and Chicken I just wanted the stuff to change their gloves she then said it again then why are you eating here she needs to be fired she is not management material my experience was horrible and mortifying at the same time I have never had a problem there until today at New Albany around 2:00 p.m. I will not be going there again for any business because of this woman she is not equipped to be in management she needs to be fired immediately for being rude and not even I mean it wasn't even that I was asking for much I was just asking for a simple glove...

Waited at the speaker for 17 minutes before anyone muttered a single word, which was basically forced by continually asking if they were open. By the time they answered I was not interested in even going in. I ordered, drove around to wait another 20 minutes to pay for my food. Got the food which was $13 dollars, btw, and the chicken strips were literally half-dollar size, so, I go in to have them replace it. They have to drop more 😐. I waited another 10 minutes (after they said 4) and they give me 1 chicken strip the size of Hillary Clinton’s pointer finger 😐😂. Not a good experience and if I could put negative points, I would.

Drive thru service is horrible. I went there to grab something to eat before heading back and I sat there for nearly 45 minutes! The man was talking super quiet so you could barely hear anything. I sat at the window waiting on him to take my payment , he must’ve forgot I could see in as I watched him just sit there on his phone , took my payment, handed me my drink and asked me to pull forward, where I sat and watched everyone else behind me get their food super quick and I waited for almost 45 minutes for 2 pieces of fish and fries. And the dude at the drive through obviously wasn’t paying attention because he rang me up for coleslaw! Worst service I’ve ever had there...
