I have had some good and bad experiences at this McDonald's. I am not sure what the problem is but they specialize in making the same kind of food everyday, 365 days of the year. There are occasions when you want to change things up and it seems that if you require a special order, these people cannot seem to take onions and pickles off of the sandwich. The other thing that kills me is the fact that if you criticize the crew, they refuse to get your order right. They look at you in your face and treat you as if you are inconveniencing them. Why is it so hard for a person who works in a fast food restaurant to make your order the way you order it? I cannot understand how it is that I have to pay for my food but these people act like they are giving you the food for free and therefore you should stop making them do the job that your money pays them to do.
Whoever owns this restaurant, please train your people the basic concepts of great customer service. New Boston, TX is a small town and should be known for something. Why not be known for excellent customer service. We live in one of the greatest nations and we used to be known for our hospitality and treating people well. Now we act like it is a burden to treat people the way we want to be treated. I don't like McDonald's food enough to overlook bad customer service. I certainly don't think that a company, whose success is maintained by serving the public unhealthy food, should be the worst purveyors of good...
Read moreMcDonald's is McDonald's. We all know the menu and have probably ordered just about everything on it during our many trips through its drive-through. This one in New Boston has recently undergone some remodeling and added another lane to its drive-through which makes for a little extra convenience. They also offer the curbside pickup, which is another plus. Let's face it, convenience is great. However, there is also some level of expectation that you will encounter friendly, smiling people to take your order and money then pass your meal out the window to you with more smiles. This is not always the case in New Boston's restaurant. Instead, you're met with people that thrust bags and drinks out to you then offer a robotic-style thank you with no emotion. Did I mention that they never get the orders right or that there is almost always something you have to pull up to wait for? Forget dessert. IF, by some chance, they actually have pies made they only have one or two and rarely the particular flavor you order! All of the remodeling looks good but I, personally, feel they could use some work in...
Read moreThis is got to be one of the worst McDonald's I have ever been to!!! About 99% of the time they get your order wrong. They are slow as all get out. The inside is still not open even though regulations have been lifted. And whenever you complain about something they twist words and make it to where that it is all your fault as the customer. If you order a chocolate shake from them stay at the window and make sure that it's frozen and not chocolate milk!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The acting manager for today June 13th 2021 at 8:25 p.m. was absolutely r ude and did not do his job well!!!!!!!!!! As I did not look at my chocolate shake there at the window realizing that it is chocolate milk waited for someone to come out to the waiting parking lot for drive-thru customers. And that manager twisted words and said that since I'm over here waiting it is my fault!;!!!! IT'S NOT THE CUSTOMER'S FAULT WHENEVER YOU DON'T HAVE FOOD ON HAND AND YOUR MACHINE DOES NOT HAVE THE CORRECT CONSISTENCIES PROGRAMMED INTO IT!!!!! GET YOUR S* STRAIGHT...
