Read moreI’ve been to this bar multiple times and never had any issues. Unfortunately my last experience was horrible. First I went to order a drink for myself and shots for the group of friends and family I was with. We were sitting at one of the round tables right in front of the bar and when I tried ordering the lady bartender told me I was only aloud to order 2 drinks and that the drink I ordered counted as 2. As she was telling me this a gentleman right next to me ordered 6 shots with no push back at all. When I pointed that out to her she rolled her eyes and shrugged me off. About 45 min passed and I finished my drink and went to order another and the same bartender told me that I was showing signs of intoxication and she was cutting me off. I literally had 1 drink. I didn’t want to argue with her so I walked over to the other bar they have to order there because clearly I was okay and she ran over to them to tell them she just cut me off. I ended up going into downtown social and was able to order another drink. All this being said I understand it is the bartenders choice whether to serve someone or not but they need to do better determining who’s actually intoxicated...
Read moreOnly bar in NB I've encounterd that promotes drunk driving. My wife and I were their one night and we drank a bit more than we should've. We waited by our car while waiting on a Uber and noticed a sign stating "All cars left will be towed". I asked the bouncer if we would be able to leave the car until morning so we could safely ride home with a Uber. He said "If you leave the lot I'll tow it myself; so don't get caught (driving) or pay the tow fee". I couldn't believe a licensed establishment would resort to such barbaric and horrid tactics towards their customers. Thankfully, we were able to contact a close friend to drive our car and us home safely. Overall the Pour Haus has somehow reached the lowest level of dissapointment I never befor thought possible for a bar in NB. If I can give any advice to a owner or manager, please, please reevaluate your business ideals because otherwise you might be responsible for the death of someone too scared to risk their car being towed and...
