I left my first, 5 star, review up so they can see I’m not just leaving reviews when I’m upset. I’m sad to say this place has definitely conformed and lowered itself to the level of a lot of other places in town. Orders are wrong or missing items and they never actually make it right. I had to drive across town, in traffic, in construction, wasting 20 minutes worth of expensive gasoline to go back for a cup of cheese. Sorry, but dry pretzel bites? No. So yeah, all for a cup of cheese. Did they offer a discount coupon for next time or a small ice cream or even AN APOLOGY? No. Just replaced my bites and gave me cheese. I didn’t bother to ask for anything because that’s not the point but come on. Not even a sorry. That’s pathetic. We won’t be back for a while, if ever. Oh, and to top it off the employees are definitely not as friendly as I stated in my first review. Even going so far as to say they hate the extra hour of work during summer to stay open until 11.
I am thoroughly impressed so far. Not only is the food great and the chocolate custard to die for but Culver’s seemed to be able to find some of the nicest people in town to work there. Everyone is always so nice and happy (to the point my husband thinks it’s a weird cult like feel 😂💀🙈) and the drive thru is so nice! Also, they have gotten our order right every time so far! I really hope they...
Read moreI am not a complainer normally but I feel the need to warn people about this Culver's. Our food took almost 45 minutes to arrive. When my husbands burger arrived it was not his but it belonged to another table. We waited another 20 minutes for them to get the correct burger to us. I ordered the pot roast dinner with broccoli and veggie soup. The broccoli was the only edible part. The pot roast was covered in the thickest "gravy" ever that tasted like concentrated salt. It was about the consistency of Flarp (that kids gooey stuff). The potatoes were cold. They gave me about 3 tableapoons of veggie soup and the manager came over to at least refund the soup cost since they were about out. There was no offer of another kind of soup or anything else in place of it. They also forgot my lemon ice slushy and I had to go up to get it. I asked an employee who had just clocked in at the register, if they had any barbecue sauce and he said yes. It was right behind him....he just walked away. I had to wait until the cashier was finished for her to ask me if there was anything I needed. The drink station was a mess. We frequent 2 other Culver's locations and have never had terrible service. The New Castle store needs someone to step in now. Also, it is not because of understaffing....there were several employees standing around and the store was...
Read moreCulver's has been a much needed addition to the area's restaurant options. While it is a fast food restaurant, it stands heads and shoulders above the others in town. They DO NOT serve food that's been prepared before it's been ordered. Everything on the menu is prepared when you order. Thankfully it doesn't seem to make the wait much longer than other restaurants.. Culver's also serves menu items that you won't find at the other fast food places. They serve cheese curds, pretzel bites, shrimp and a wide variety of ice cream treats. Culver's calls it custard. Whether you call it ice cream or custard it is delicious. It's creamier and tastes better than any ice cream I've ever eaten. Lastly, I've got to say that Culver's has managed to hire the kindest and most helpful group of people I've had the pleasure of purchasing anything rom in a very long time. I'm not saying they're perfect. They do mess up the occasional order. However, they graciously accept their mistake and do whatever they can to...
