China House — Restaurant in New Haven

The worse service ever. The service was so bad, my food is not even warm, it’s cold. The food was delivered a hr after it was ordered. The person who took my order along with the person delivering were rude. Then to top it all off, they gave me the wrong order; I got some soggy ass fried chicken instead of the general tso I ordered…which probably wouldn’t have happened if the guy didn’t have an attitude while I was ordering. The only thing they got right was French fries and a side of sweet and sour chicken that was cold....

Usually, I do not leave negative reviews, but they hung up on me over the phone when I asked to pay with a card. They said cash only and abruptly hung up. I wanted to try their food and normally use Apple Pay, so I did not have cash. I guess it's okay that they do not accept cards, but the abrupt hang-up made me laugh. I was surprised by it, and so I think a one-star review is...

Usually when I order from here I have no complaints the food is better than most Chinese I have tried but tonight they messed up my order and said I only ordered one combination plate, than I open my fried rice with 2.00 extra shrimp just to be disappointed. My damn shrimp were dirty and some look molded. Worst experience with them. For now on I'll stick with my number 1 choice...
