This was my first visit to EST EST EST Pizza, I was excited to finally stop in and experience a piece of New Haven's pizza history. Established in 1973, this pizzeria has been serving up delicious pies for decades, and it's easy to see why it's a local favorite. Their menu has a variety of options available—from salads and wings to pasta, stromboli's, and an array of pizzas, there was something to satisfy every craving. Which made it very challenging to decide on what to get. I decided on the BBQ chicken pizza, a personal favorite. The pizza did not disappoint; the BBQ sauce was superb – it had the perfect balance of sweet, tangy, and smokiness. We also got their baked ziti, buffalo wings, and chef salad. The portions were generous, the chef salad was huge with lots of meat and fresh veggies. The buffalo wings were cooked to perfection, nice and crispy! The baked ziti was served piping hot on a skillet, which allowed it to remain warm throughout the meal, it was delicious too. I also got an Oreo pie for dessert and it was heavenly! Poor excuse for a business. I ordered food that I waited to be delivered just for them to expect me to leave my home and walk a block away to pickup the food from the DELIVERY driver. There was no DANGER as they were pretending it was. Matter of fact the police were sitting in clear view about 20 feet away from my door.

Update: As you can see the owner replied to this review. To be clear there isn’t just one building. This is a complex with multiple building. He was neither in the front or the back of MY building. I checked at both my front/back door. From where I live in this complex I’d have to walk the distance of a block to the street. The street isn’t in view of my building at all! Also if this address was such a red flag why wouldn’t whoever took my order let me know this prior to accepting my order. I had a sleeping baby in this apartment and I wasn’t going to wake the child or leave the child to walk a blocks distance for food that was supposed to be delivered to me. This restaurant is nothing short of incredible! From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with warmth and treated like family. Mazin and other owners are some of the kindest people you’ll meet—they go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and even take the time to remember you by name. It’s a personal touch that makes all the difference and keeps you coming back.

The pizza is out of this world! Perfectly cooked, with a crispy yet chewy crust, fresh toppings, and just the right amount of sauce and cheese. It’s honestly some of the best pizza I’ve ever had.The sausage grinder it’s hands down the best I’ve ever tasted. The sausage is seasoned to perfection, and the bread is fresh and delicious.

Every staff member is friendly, attentive, and genuinely cares about your experience. It’s clear that this place is built on a passion for great food and strong connections with their customers.
