Got $5 meal deal. They were out of the chicken and didn't SAY they were out but instead substituted medium fries instead of small. Person at drivethru window claimed she told me. Maybe -- I didn't hear it and I certainly didn't CONFIRM that it would be okay to substitute a measly bit of fried potatoes for the meat I was supposed to get. First time ever eating at a Checkers restaurant. they advertised a 5$ meal deal which consisted of 2 burgers, a fry, a 20 Oz drink, and a milk shake. they did not give me my shake and when I asked for it, they charged me $3.20 for a small. on top of that, there were 4 people huddled around the ice cream machine and I could hear them laughing and one even saying make it special. as we where pulling through it took them 20 minutes to even ask us what we want , there were only two cars in front so wasn't busy at all. when she finally talked to us she had an attitude when we said two separate orders and was like " what you need" then we said for the next order and stated what we want she said what sandwich and we repeated more than once and kept asked what we want and said " yall not even saying the sandwich " with attitude and raised her voice and when we got our food she was aggressively pushing our bags to us.
