Wildflower Bakery, LLC — Restaurant in New Kensington

My wife and I are big fans of Wildflower Bakery. They made our wedding cake, we pretty often pick up things for work, family and ourselves, and most recently they catered a grad party with salad, fruit, croissant sandwiches and desserts.

The baked goods are amazing. Great texture, taste, variety, presentation.

They have good hours! I know staffing is tough these days but sometimes it is hard to find time to visit local businesses because of the odd hours. Wildflower does a good job at being open consistently and during events like Fridays on Fifth.

Hailey and Daisy are extremely easy to work with for larger orders. Very responsive and willing to work with you to make sure you’re getting what you want within your budget.

They have lots of GF and vegan items in addition to their regular baked goods. It isn’t just one item as an afterthought - they’re really committed to providing lots of fun options for those with dietary restrictions which is deeply appreciated.

Community - love seeing their items all over New Kensington and in their shop you’ll find a few things from other businesses in town

my goodness, I don’t even know where to start! I spoke to Hailey over the phone, she was the sweetest and I wish I could have met her. I will defiantly be only ordering cakes from them! They made a vegan & gluten free almond cake with vanilla buttercream as well as lemon whipped cream filling with berries. I couldn’t be happier and thank Wildflower Bakery for the decor and how perfect everything was. I'm going to start a cult based off these cookies.

So this review is not based off the actual bakery but just the cookies because we got them from other location selling the cookies. The cookies are thick and skillfully baked so they are still soft. The bite is wonderful.

Pro tip: I found Oreo and M&M delightful in the fridge and s'mores wonderfully tasty lightly warmed up. I ponder if the marshmallows were put on late because I find marshmallows tend to melt if baked. These were lightly toasted marshmallow pieces gently browned into...
