Scooter's Coffee — Restaurant in New Lenox

Today I visited for the 3rd time and it's the final straw I'm sticking with Dunkin and Starbucks. The coffee is good it's the staff....each visit is ridiculously slow and there's some issues that's legit. First visit I get the wrong drink in a smaller size, I bring this up and the member said "oh is that not okay?" Really? Second visit trying again, a 10-15 min wait behind 2 cars and my coffee was room temperature. I said something to the girl and she said "it seems fine to me" Last visit today...I tried the app thinking maybe the communication would improve...wrong. I ask about my order and she said they don't carry what the app says and acted like I was crazy saying you shouldn't take an app order only to make whatever you want that's not what I order. One car ahead of me and the wait was 10 min...again...after all this she dryly says "I guess we do have it...is that what you want?". I can't with this store. The coffee is great but the staff here I can't handle. I can't be the only person that is saying this?! It's like the Twilight zone every visit filled with instant regret for...

I stopped by Scooter’s Coffee this morning, and it absolutely made my day! The staff greeted me with genuine smiles and had my order ready in no time—super fast and friendly service. The coffee was perfect: rich, smooth, and just the right temperature, and my iced latte had that fresh, bold flavor I love. I also tried one of their breakfast sandwiches, and it was so fresh and tasty.

What really stood out was how welcoming the team was—it felt like they actually cared about making my morning better. The drive-thru was quick, but they didn’t rush me at all, which I really appreciate. This will definitely be my go-to spot for coffee runs from now on! I went with me and my family and thought the food and drink were great. The cafe was adorable and the boy working at the front was sweet and patient with us. Although, I found that the employees were extremely rude towards each other. I witnessed a man walk in, saying to the boy up front that he got the incorrect drink at the drive through and his drink was remade. Later, I couldn’t help but overhear a few of the female employees yelling at the boy up front, blaming him for messing up the drive through order even though he was inside helping me during this time. So overall, the coffee shop is great and has good customer service, but I am disappointed in the employees companionship...
