Waited a lot, we were the only customers at the restaurant but the workers were eating lunch at one point between us getting appetizers and sushi.
We had one waitress who took awhile to take our order, then disappeared and someone else brought the food. Then both of them were gone? My friend said she saw one on the phone the whole time. I was facing toward the door so I didn't see.
One waitress said they didn't have gluten free soy sauce and she said someone was going to get it? The other person said they had it, but I'd already gone to walmart and gotten it and came back and it even took me a while to find the stuff and the appetizers were out when I got back but not the sushi for another while.
There's a menu for food and one for alcoholic drinks but non alcoholic drinks are not on either menu, which is not helpful.
We came for lunch at 230, left at 350 because everything took so long and we would have gotten more food since it was the all you can eat but we didn't want to risk waiting another hour for one sushi roll and a soup.
Like, the other sushi place nearby closes for 2 hours for lunch, maybe they should do that here. Again, we were the only people there and probably ate in 20 minutes but were there for 80 minutes.
We got up to leave and asked a third person for the check.
Fortunately they didn't charge us for the dinner fee (more pricy) and charged for the lunch fee.
I'll probably come and see another time if they get better but my friends won't.
Other reviews said it might get better later.
Maybe the takeout experience would be better than dine in? The food was...
Read moreThe food was pretty good, the atmosphere was cute and cozy.. Only a few complaints and it was all due to our server Kim. I don’t even know where to start, at first she was sweet. We weren’t really sure how the sheets worked, so my S/O and I both filled one out. We only got one sheets worth of food which was mine. He waited for his and I shared mine, come to find out she only put one sheet in. She asked what we wanted to drink, we told her what we wanted and she brought something different and told us to try it, I asked again for what we wanted and she brought it. She brought us some sauces and told us to try mixing some of the sauces and when we didn’t she came back to the table and started mixing them when we didn’t want that. She should NOT have touched our food. With all of the mistakes and odd behavior we didn’t tip because we were extremely uncomfortable. As we were walking out she CHASED US and confronted us, taken back from it my boyfriend said he had to get the cash from the car (trying to give us an escape route). Then she told me to stay there and pulled a seat out told me to sit until he came back. This is the ONLY reason we haven’t been back, is because of her. I ended up running out as soon as she turned her back. That is NOT how a...
Read moreI unfortunately have to change my 5 star review. I came back here a second time for AYCE with 3 others on 6/30 around 6-7 pm. After eating, my friend started feeling sick and threw up a few times. I thought it was just him but a few hours later I started feeling sick as well and threw up a few times. So far, 2/4 of us have gotten sick after eating from here.
EDIT: A third person in my group has now gotten sick two days after eating here, showing the same symptoms of nausea and vomiting. Regarding the owner's reply, we asked for clarification behind what we ordered because we had received chicken gyoza as an appetizer, which we did not order, so we wanted to ensure we did not receive rolls that weren't ours. I do not understand why asking for clarification on what we ordered matters anyway. Regardless, it is not a coincidence that three of us have gotten sick after eating from here. I hope you will take this into consideration.
2ND EDIT: After we called the health department, they did go to the store and reported back to me that they had found high risk violations that could’ve contributed to our illnesses. I recommend not going here since the owner straight up lied about their food handling...
