OMG!! I can't be any more happy with the repair of my wedding/engagement rings. The wedding band broke just after our 45th wedding anniversary and I was reluctant to have it repaired if it meant the jeweler didn't have a shop in-house--it's too precious to risk sending it out. So I put it away and just wore the engagement ring. We recently had our 57th wedding anniversary and I noticed the engagement band needed to be repaired. I took them both to Kay Jewelers/New Lenox Towne Center and was quickly put at ease to trust them (especially Mrs. Brya) to take special care of the repair process and keep me informed of its status along the way. I got my rings back today. OMG--OMG--so well done! Looks better than brand new, so sparkly I just can't stop looking at it every couple of minutes--just like when I first got it in 1966. They told me I had diamonds missing and when they looked up my account to check the warranty information they all of a sudden wouldn’t take the rings to have them sent off. Went to another Kay’s in southern IL and they confirmed I didn’t have diamonds missing. This store is trash and needs to be shut down. The staff was very disrespectful and couldn’t even comprehend the fact if there were diamonds missing that they needed to send the rings off. This store and the staff are a joke. Recently her wedding ring became damaged through fault not our own. Kay’s in new Lenox gave us no problems at all when it came to fulfilling their end of the agreement. The manager Vicky was extremely helpful and friendly. I was so impressed with how Vicky handle the whole situation.
