Wendy's — Restaurant in New Lenox

I went through drive thru.. The line was extremely long and service very slow. When I received my food it was cold. I parked and went inside the store to request hot food. This store was very messy..fries were scattered all over the floor while employees were standing around talking. The guy working drive thru was handling money and making food orders. I saw him pick up chicken nuggets with his unclean hands. He was angrily throwing the nuggets inside the carton, which were served to customers. I ask to speak to a Manager, I told her how this employee was handling food without gloves and touching his hair. DISGUSTING. She personally took care of my order. I told her that I did not want that young man handling my food. I told the young man and the manager that his behavior for handling food is UNSANITARY AND UNACCEPTABLE. I made the decision not to visit this store ever again until they clean up the store and properly train the employees. Whatever happened to good customer service? This Wendy's missed the mark. I wish i was able to give this rating...

SCAMMERS!!! I just went through the drive through and told them I wanted to use a code which they then told me I had to use it at the window. I then payed and ask to use the code which they then responded with “you must use the code before you pay” I was frustrated but understood that was there policy and asked to put another fry on the order which I then scanned the code and payed. I thought everything was fine until I got my food and all that was in the bag was FRIES no chicken nuggets. I was still at the window and told the women she forgot my fries, she then LAUGHED in my face and said “I had scanned for rewards” and would have to pay again to get my chicken nuggets. This is the WORST in-counter I have ever had at a fast food place and will NEVER be coming back. The food was awful fries weren’t salted. The women working at the window needs to be FIRED. We visited this location yesterday. When we arrived and started ordering the girl over the speaker asked “Omg are you done yet” while ordering - mind you, we literally ordered 3 junior bacon cheeseburgers, 2 nuggets, and 2 fries. Should have left then, but didn’t. The junior bacon cheeseburgers they gave us had musturd, onions, pickles, and bacon. Absolutely wrong and disgusting. I also have been sick all night since eating here. The workers are terrible and so is the food. I have known this location has been pretty bad for years and came here in a pinch for a rushed meal - never ever again,

Update: as of today 2/4/24 I have contacted Wendy’s corporate to look into this location since I am still physically sick since eating here. The rude workers, the wrong food that could care less about making, & the absolute filth they serve needs...
