Very wonderful place, I have been twice in one week and have always gotten the thai food! For the first trip we ordered the chicken satay, chicken pad thai, and chicken mango curry. The chicken satay was amazing, especially for the price ($10) and I would go back just for that. Both sweet and peanut sauces paired well with the chicken satay. It comes with a little grill to add some grill marks to the tender and juicy chicken, super fun. The chicken is also seasoned well, with a strong lemongrass flavor. The pad thai was a little dry for me, and not super flavorful, but very worth the price as I had plenty of leftovers. The mango curry was amazing, slightly spicy with a flavorful base. The second time we ordered the chicken satay once again (10/10 dish) and a red curry with chicken and the beef pho. I asked for the curry to not have bell peppers, and they were very accommodating. The pho was large and yummy, I am no pho expert but it was a very nice pho. The soup base was not a clear broth but tasted very light and flavorful. We also ordered the mango sticky rice from the separate dessert menu (I believe it’s from an adjacent restaurant). The sticky rice was delicious but the mango was not ripe enough. The coconut sauce it was cooked in seemed a little thin, which I have no issues with but I am used to a thicker coconut sauce. I might not get it again because of the size, but still a good try if you’ve never had mango sticky! Overall I would recommend the curries and the chicken satay! The hosts were wonderful and service was timely. The interior of the restaurant is clean and spacious, with plenty of parking outside.

Came here for lunch with a coworker. First impression on atmosphere: slightly outdated but relaxing and clean overall. Seated promptly. Menu is extensive for both Thai and Japanese. I've been reluctant to try this place as I've read very mixed reviews, particularly on the Pad Thai. We got free miso soup as a starter. The tofu portion was large but the soup tasted weird to me. Not enough umami miso flavor. Not bad necessarily, but not great. We ordered the curry puff as a starter. The puff pastry and cucumber chutney were very good but the filing was underwhelming. Not much curry flavor. I got the lunch size eggplant pad with beef. I liked the portion for the price but honestly it was very bland. Bad bland. Not seasoned, sitting in a brothy soup that was unappealing. My eggplant was mush. I can see why there are mixed reviews on this place. A woman sitting in the booth behind us ordered the Pad Thai. Once her waitress left I heard her comment to her lunch companion that it smelled like wet dog. Sure, fish sauce has a funk to it but I've never thought Pad Thai smelled like wet dog. That'll be a permanent pass for me from here. My coworker ordered the amazing sauce lunch with duck. He said he enjoyed it. The star of our lunch was surprisingly the sushi. We shared the green dragon roll which was huge and very delicious. It really made up for the rest. Overall I'd eat the Japanese side of the menu if I came here again. I'll pass on the Thai.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! My friends and I went to Jasmine Thai on 12/2/22 around 8pm and we ordered drunken noodles and Pad Thai. We love thai food so thats why we were at the establishment. The friend who ordered Pad Thai got her dish and she took one bite and spit out the food. We all tried the Pad Thai to see why that was her reaction and the noodles were burnt, chicken tasted awful, and the dish left a awful after-taste. She told the waitress who was a supervisor on the shift that the Pad Thai was not eatable and the waitress blamed my friend's tastebuds and said she can't take the dish back and that my friend will have to pay full price of a dish that she took one bite of. The waitress got extremely rude towards us saying that due to inflation and cost of the noodles, we'd have to pay. I told her to taste the dish herself since she blamed our tastebuds and she said that EVERYONE loves their Pad Thai. My friend got another dish since the Pad Thai wasnt edible and I asked to speak to the manager. There was no manager there but she came with the check and said "I changed the price of the Pad Thai to $7.95 instead of $15, that's all I can do." Terrible experience at Jasmine Thai and I'd only recommend it for the Pad Thai if you enjoy your noodles burnt, disgusting, with a side of a rude waitress.

The menu is TWO separate and very overwhelming menus. Just because you offer many things it does not mean it's all good. Quality over quantity is highly suggested. It should not take a patron an anxiety inducing amount of time to find something to eat... only to have it be substandard.

The very bland miso soup was served luke warm in a French onion soup crock. Only to have been reheated in the microwave when I commented to the server about it. Add soy sauce if you want flavor.

The steamed dumplings were served on a very cold plate so they too were served slightly warm when we got them.

The ONLY redeeming quality of this place was the genuinely nice hostess and the server we had. The female sushi "chef" came across as argumentative. Here's why...

Do NOT eat the "sushi". I ordered something with eel you can get at most places. Plus I had worked at a sushi restaurant fir a time and know the proper storage, prep and playing practices. I had reasonable comparison experience. When I tried a piece, it had a grainy & mushy texture with a very strong "fish" taste. Eel is supposed to be smooth, buttery texture with a "sweet" flavor.

I asked when it was delivered. She said "yesterday". I have learned this is a very common go to response.

I then stated that eel should not taste mushy, grainy or fishy. It tastes as if it is "turning". She then admitted to it having been frozen!!! Then thawed that morning then "soaked". Soaked in what??? No reply. She stuck to her belief that the fish was fine and "that's how it's done".

This is NOT how it's supposed to be done. Sushi is supposed to be fresh to plate. Refrigerator if need be. NOT fresh, frozen, thawed, soaked then plate. It should never have a strong "fish" smell or taste.

That's not all... I wasn't offered something else to order from the menu. I wanted to give something else a shot.I sat there as my partner ate his dinner that he ordered from the Thai menu; which was surprisingly served hot. It was actually VERY delicious.

I asked for the bill... which was handwritten attached with a calculator machine receipt. My partner and I had to go back to the menu to find which item went with which price.

We found an extra charge... they intended to charge me for the dish I did not eat. I ate ONE PIECE prior to complaint.

Then they tried charging me half price. I asked to speak to the manager... but the manager sent out the server with the charge taken off... but NO manager. They refused to take a minute to speak to a dissatisfied patron.

Stick to the Thai food and leave the sushi to those that respect the art and care of the ingredients. Plus... get a new sushi chef and a manager willing to speak to patrons in order to improve.

I highly support local businesses. But not if they choose to not hear polite critique in person at the time...

Initially called to order pickup and the number kept saying mailbox was full. Ended up having to order our meal online around 545 and our estimated wait time for pickup was over an hour long . I called to confirm the lengthy wait time in which I was offered a table upon arrival and an apology from the waiter. When we arrived around 645, our food was still placed in to go bags and we had to explain to the hostess our situation due to lack of communication on the restaurant's part. We humbly proceeded to order a drink and open our food without complaint. When I ordered my husband's food, I ordered the wrong type of sushi roll. I admitted my fault to the owner, and asked for it to be remade. His body language was telling me he was annoyed and bothered by this. After sitting there quietly awaiting our rolls, for about 20 minutes.. I went to ask the hostess if she could check on the order. Come to find out the owner never even addressed the issue just proceeded to go back to the dining room with his nasty attitude. We were told we would have to wait a long time for the order to be made because it was "so busy". Like they really couldn't make an accommodation for a customer who spends over $100 a month or more at this place for years. No customer appreciation at all. I asked for a manager and the owner's wife came to the table and asked what happened after telling her she put the order right in for us after reminding us that we weren't getting it for free ( we weren't looking for a handout, just our dinner). About 10 minutes went by and she brought us our food in another to go bag... We just ordered drinks and took our food out of the bags but she still brought it as a to go order. She put the food down on the table and proceeded to grab my bowl of rice (I hadn't even eaten a bite of it yet, and my half eaten salad from the top of the dishes as she is asking me if I was done eating them. After putting her hands on my food assuming I didn't want it and making us feel completely rushed out the door, my husband finally lost his patience. The wife argued with him and called him a liar basically saying she didn't touch my food with her hands and she knows what she's doing. The husband comes over and says just let them go we have other people to worry about. Exactly his problem from the beginning, he wasn't concerned with us from the beginning Had he known we were frequent customers I'm sure we would have been treated differently. I don't recommend going here there are much better restaurants in the area even the nastiest restaurants have nicer employees and better customer service than these people. Thumbs down and shame on you! You both just lost a good customer! And many more potential ones once they read this review. Communicate better...

All I knw is this. "UNLESS UR GOING TO TIP. TIP GOOD. OR DO NOT COME HERE!!" I've been here many times off & on. Somethingz. Never seem to change.. My biggest complaint is .THAT THEY AUTOMATICALLY WANT TIPS. WEATHER GOOD SERVICE OR BAD.. OR FOOD GOOD OR NT SO GOOD. OR U WANT A FAIR PRICE FOR LUNCH BUT CAN'T AFFORD THE TIP THAT DAY..EVEN ON TAKE OUT. IT'S THE 3RD TIME "I WAS TOLD I FORGOT THE TIP WHILE EATING HERE." One time I included in the bill lady wanted more! Or they say" TIP NT INCLUDED." THIS TIME I WAS HALFWAY OUT THE DOOR WAITRESS RUNS AFTER ME TELLS ME THIS( I forgot the tip).. "I HAD NEVER IN MY LIFE BEEN CHASED DOWN FOR A TIP.!!!." LET ALONE SOMETHING NT DESEVERD!!!. FUNNY THING THIS TIME THE SERVICE WAZ GREAT WHICH IS Noramlly SO-SO.. . BUT WAY MORE THAN ATTENTIVE. NEEDED SOME PRIVATE TALK.. TIME WITH MY FIANCE.. WHAT COST THE TIP IS. THE STARING.. MAKING HER FEEL UNCOMFORTABLE. STARING AT THE CAR WITH PPL SHE CAME WITH. TAKEN PICS.. PLUS SHE SAID SEVERAL TIMES I WISH U STOP STARING ..SHE LIKED WHAT WE HAD BUT THE STARING..U RUINED HER FRIST THAI EXPERIENCE HERE... THIS IS THE ONLY RESTAURANT I I'VE BEEN TO THAT DOES THIS CONSTANTLY. WATCH THE DIRTY LOOKS U GET TOO. AT TIMES. OR ATTITUDES. They WILL be Like TIP NT INCLUDED OR U FORGOT TIP. ECT... THATZ WHY I USED TO sit in the Bar area. UNTIL MY LAST VISIT. Which I'm writing abt. Sometimes SEVICE the same but the quietness is nice. But I got NO complaints on Tipping. EVEN When I leave. U WANT BEST THAI..GO TO 'LAZY LEOPARD' Formally("RICE SPICE, NOODLES) In Mystic. Great Tasting Food & Quality..Still even after a NEW LOCATION & Name Change. AS for portions .COULD BE A LITTLE BIGGER,BUT Itz more Gourmet & presentation wise.. A little expensive. Nice ambience . GREAT $10 LUNCH SPEICAL.. It's TOTALLY WORTH IT.

"STILL HAVEN'T BEEN BACK TO JASMINE THAI." P.S I'VE CALLED B4 ON SEVERAL TIMES ABT THIS BUT THE MANAGEMENT DIDN'T CARE & I DNT KNW IF THE OWNER CARES EITHER. I'M ALSO AFRAID TO GO TO "BANGKOK CITY " NOW. BECAUSE I HEARD THEY BOUGHT & MANAGE THAT TOO. I KNOW ITZ UNDER DIFFRENT PEOPLE NOW....
