Double my stars.. Great place for coffee AND amazing food. This is the longest review I've ever written, but they are worth but. Was really surprised the 1st time I ate here (though had been a bunch of times prior for coffee). Wow, such a chill coffee shop with super well made eats! Love the chilli, buritto, soup, and the burgers that are encased in soft pretzelly kind of dough (not 100% how to describe) has to be one of the best edible things you can eat - in the world.

On top of all that, the people are great, very friendly, and make you feel at home - like a family member. Another thing... Music out if nowhere.. sometimes a person will walk up the the old upright piano and begin playing - from moderate skills to professional, all are welcome (never heard chop-sticks - which is a good thing). Maybe someone will start singing a tune.. with or without accompyment. And on a chilly or cold day, grab a table next to the fireplace! What else can I say.. other than you're really missing something if you haven't tried one of my favourite places in New Orleans. Great coffee, great meals, great atmoshere, and great people by. It's right across the street from MiMi's, in...

I orders a chicken burrito. I clearly didn't get it, no big deal. I went in and let them know that I got the wrong food, the owner and cook i guess happened to be standing there and asked what the problem was, I told them what I ordered and he looks at the chickpea burrito with some kind of yellow seasoning and told me that that was my chicken spinach burrito. I told him no, this isn't what I ordered, can I just get what I ordered. He stood there and argued with me as I was looking at the food. Whatever, I took it and was going to eat it until I realized the $8 burrito was 90% rice. I went back in and told the girl at the counter that this wasn't my order. She agreed and swapped it out.arguiing me about my irder being wrong as I was staring at the obvious wrong order was annoying, but what really sucked, I got the worst food poisoning for 3 freaking days. F this place. 1 $8 burrito took me out for 3 days. I couldn't go anywhere since I wasn't sure when water was going to shoot put of both ends for 3 freaking days....

Stopped in for lunch last Friday with a dear friend from out of town. Floras has been my go-to coffee spot for years. I was excited to share this gem with them. Unfortunately, this was one of the worst experiences I've ever had at Flora's. The blonde, curly haired women working behind the counter was unbelievable rude and seemed upset that we were even trying to order. Despite the bad attitude from the grumpy Barista, we still placed our orders...that's when things got worse. She over charged us for our drinks ( $10 for an iced chai and $8 for a whole milk latte). When I pointed out the mistake, she refused to correct it and began arguing. I didn't want to spoil what had been a pleasant day up until then. So, I let it go and paid the overcharge to end the argument....but it didn't end there. Not only was I overcharge, but the drinks were unquestionably the worst I have ever had. I was super disappointed my friend was unable to experience the service and quality I normally receive at my home...

Beautiful cafe with delicious food!! My boyfriend and I were looking for a place to grab late night dessert. Found this cafe, open late and great reviews. So glad we stopped by here. The cafe was beautiful and so calming. The art around the cafe was stunning. Amazing customer service, an older gentleman, I didn’t get it his name, but he was so kind and helpful. He seemed like he loved his job. We had a great conversation, told us the owner is an Iranian man named Ali (sadly we didn’t get to meet him) but the gentleman took our order and even offered us some fresh apple ginger juice that he just made. There was a piano in the corner and even a friendly cat!! We ordered the tiramisu and the lemon blueberry cheesecake, it was delicious!! We sat down played some board games, after took a seat outside, it was stunning, everything from the plants, to the art and the lighting. So peaceful. Can’t wait to come here next time we visit new orleans!! Thank you!

This is one of the most special places in New Orleans. It’s my absolute favorite place and it’s been a safe space for me to disappear into since I moved here almost five years ago. There are so many fresh cold and hot options for food, and they’re always adding new things to the menu. The coffee is always fresh, the baristas are always on top of it and friendly, and there are two shop kitties who roam around checking on the customers as well. Just an all around magical place.

We found Flora Gallery & Coffee Shop by accident while exploring the neighborhood. The ice coffee and pastry was perfect for the 100’ day we were enduring. The gentleman behind the counter could not have been more friendly. The art work on the walls is interesting and filled with energy. For breakfast, a quick snack or to view the art, check this place out. We will be back.
