Someone call 911. This family chocolate confectionery was EVERYTHING!!!! Omgoodness! Literally everything you could possible want. The aroma screams ice cream! In complete bliss, I was super full after lunch, but I couldn’t leave New Orleans without grabbing a few unique pieces of chocolate. Dark chocolate šŸ«. I grabbed me a pecan turtle rod 🪵 ( pretzel stick) And check this they had a graham cracker covered in chocolate 😳 sayyyyyy whatttt… amazingly good. I’m mad I only purchased one. Who needs Girl Scout cookies, when you can grab a Shortbread cookie! Yes, shortbread. Pick either milk or dark chocolate. I chose dark chocolate, of course. With 🄄 and caramel I believe surrounding it. This is hands down THE BEST CHOCOLATE FACTORY. Now, I just need a golden ticket. Matter fact, I won big with this discovery. Seriously, amazing ASFudge. Thankfully, they do ship. Just be prepared to order in bulk, shipping fee is $20. I believe, there is one in Plano, Texas. So that is great news. Located in the Shops of Legacy. Makes great sense to be located there. Now I’m just hoping they have everything I saw in New Orleans. There’s a rice crispy treat waiting for me. For the...

My family was sucked into kilwins on our trip to New Orleans. My husband and kids enjoyed the ice cream, and I had a sugar free chocolate covered toffee bar. It was the most amazing sugar free candy I’ve ever had, and probably the most amazing candy, period! I was excited to find out that Kilwins is a franchise and has locations closer to where we live. Yes, it is very expensive, so it’s best for an occasional treat, but I think it’s worth it. I would suggest some additional training for the employees at the NOLA location - I asked to buy a half pound box of assorted chocolates to take home and the employee was very rude. She rolled her eyes and said, ā€œUm well what do you want?ā€ I realized that all the chocolates are priced differently, so I said I’d take 2 of several different types of candy. She refused to put them in a box - she just put them in a bag, and that was disappointing because they were a gift. (The gift was appreciated all the same, though.) However, the other employees that helped us were very kind and friendly, so I can’t lower my rating due to...

My husband and I stopped by on a Thursday night to grab a treat just before heading to see a musical. We walked in and there was very vulgar, explicit music playing. I thought it was commonly understood to play the clean/radio version of any song when operating a business. My husband brought it to a clerk's attention and said he wouldn't be able to bring our kids in due to explicit nature of the music and he literally laughed and treated it like a joke. Thankfully, they eventually turned it off. The chocolates were tasty as usual. We've been to quite a few Kilwins across the gulf coast so the taste was no surprise to us. They really do offer a great assortment of hand- made desserts at reasonable prices. I doubt the owner is aware or would approve of what apparently has become a common practice at this particular establishment. Personal preferences aside, there's nothing to lose, only more to gain for raising the...

I stumbled upon Kilwins while walking near Bourbon Street, and it quickly became one of the highlights of my trip! The moment you step inside, you’re greeted with the rich, sweet aroma of freshly made treats—and I couldn’t resist the candied apples. They were absolutely amazing: crisp, perfectly coated, and made fresh daily. I honestly treated myself to one every day I was in town! The shop itself is charming and spotless, and the staff were so friendly and welcoming. They were happy to answer questions and even offered samples of their fudge and ice cream. Everything looked delicious, and it was hard not to leave with a little bit of everything. Kilwins is a must-visit if you have a sweet tooth and find yourself in New Orleans. It’s the kind of place that brings out your inner kid—and I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in town!

1 star - for cleanness and how nicely organized the place was! Everything is layout in front of you in different sections. 2- star - for the price, you get a very big portion, we got one cone and a waffle sundae and we could barely finish it!! 3 star - so many ice cream flavors and so many different fudge choices. We tried strawberry, coconut and the chocolate fudge. They were all equally amazing. The fudge was the best tho 4 star- is for customer service!! Everyone was so kind and helpful. From the time we walked in to saying goodbye when we left. They invited us to try out their fudge and the guy by the ice cream was really funny! He allowed us to try a few flavors as we were unsure. The lady by the baking side was super kind when asked about the strawberries šŸ“
