Leaving a review here cause I purchased a smoothie for someone else and they complained about their drink.
When I got to the drive thru, the young man asked what I was getting. I told him I was getting 3 smoothies. On the second one, I asked if they had creatine (muscle builder). He told me no. I continued with my order, but at the end, I asked again to confirm if they sold muscle builder. I’m guessing either he didn’t know what was in the muscle builder or I should have worded it as “muscle builder” (understandable); he said they do. But he rang me up for hulk blend.
When I got to the window, it was a young woman. She asked me what I ordered. I used the site to find specific drinks and had already exited out (my mistake), so it took me a second to find and relay the order to her. She found it and handed me my receipt and that’s when I realized I was charged for the wrong thing. The guy came to the window to hand me the drinks and I let him know that I was rang up for the wrong thing. After the two employees chatted for a bit, they asked me to pull to the drive thru.
I was confused because why couldn’t they just remake my drink then and there and hand it to me? I had to leave the premises and drive around the corner just to get back to the drive thru (they told me “you’re running our drive thru time up; we have other drinks to make”). When I got back to the premises, I went up to the door and the girl came to the door. I told her I wasn’t trying to be any trouble but wanted to confirm that the right ingredients were added. She seemed dismissive as if I was inconveniencing them.
What should have been a quick remake took another 10+ minutes. I spent almost $40 on 1 good drink and 2 that got thrown away because of bad quality.
I know I will get the usual “we’re sorry about your experience; we’ll handle it” and nothing will be done. But if something is done, I would like a refund for my order and for the customer service to improve for future customers. Neither I, or my family and friends, will be back to this location.
And before you copy and paste your “send us feedback on the site” response, I...
Read moreI went through drive through and asked what was in the lemonades and the order taker what was in the drink. He started listing the types of lemonade and then when I got to the window I asked him whether there was a recipe book listing the ingredients.
He looked at me and said it’s on the menu.
I advised that the ingredients for the lemonades were not and he just stared at me. I sipped the drink and it tasted like there was a sweetener other than sugar so I literally rolled around and reentered the drive through in less than a minute.
I asked for a manager and for a refund.
I told him that the reason I asked what the ingredients were was because I really do not like the taste of synthetic sweeteners.
I could have gotten it without sweeteners. He tells me that I had an attitude from the jump and he says that he doesn’t know whether I’m passionate about it. I told him that knowing the ingredients is really important because folks could have an allergy.
He was nice nasty and closed the window.
I’m not a major fan of smoothie king, but I have a wide back and I’m trying to lose weight.
I stopped here because I have go to smoothies that I used to get from here.
The lemonades looked like they would take the edge off cause I’m hungry as ten hippos.
These youngsters like to use word gumbo as if they’re telling it like it is when all he had to do was tell me from jump what was in the lemonade. He could’ve looked at the modifiers on the register.
Someone should sponsor his trip to the esthetician and to some professional...
Read moreI went through the drive through yesterday morning and sat at the speaker for over 5 minutes. My friend with me said maybe we order at the window, so I drove up and saw 4 employees just standing there. The one opening the window gave us a terrible look. I asked “do we order here?” And he said no you need to order at the speaker…. That’s when I said well nobody said anything to us at the speaker. We asked if we could order with him and he said yeah. We wanted a mango drink so he named two different ones. We said we would have one large mangofest. Still acting annoyed with us, he says okay that will be $28….. we both said “$28!?” And he said yeah. We said never mind and left, did not purchase anything because of bad customer service and trying to upcharge us for one drink. For reference, we looked up the drink price online and it said around $10, so I’m assuming he just priced it at that so he wouldn’t have to make it.
We had every intent on spending money there but the employee at the window was very rude and uninvinting for no reason! Just want this location to be aware they are losing customers...
