These are good tacos. We were ecstatic that they were open on the 4th and delivered to our location. Ordered fish and steak tacos, plus a couple of quesadillas. The tacos were large and stuffed with meat falling out of the tortilla. I didn't try the quesadillas, but didn't hear any complaints either. What we did complain about is the service. I thought I ordered 3 fish tacos which I received and 3 steak tacos of which I only got one? Easy mixup but not sure how that happened, but didn't get charged for what I didn't receive. I could've used those extra tacos because delivery took 2hrs. We didn't get an ETA when we ordered otherwise we could've gone and got it for that period of time. So while we did enjoy the food, we didn't really enjoy this first experience. Next time I'll order/pickup there.

Food and customer service is great, nothing short from NOLA charm just wish they had covered seating other than that. Try them out you will not be disappointed. I had the veggie tacos which was just right my heat level was a 4. If you are not into spice just stick to it on the side. First picture is veggie second is chicken tacos.

Cool place connected to a bar. A place where all walks of life are welcomed. Just be prepared to wait a long time.

Let's start off with the process. Order at the stand. No cards. Cashapp, Venmo or Zelle or Cash. Ordering was straight forward. Nice to have the option to customize the heat level since I like things with more spice than the Mr. Food came up pretty fast which was great. But, the order was all flip flopped. I ordered 2shrimp tacos/1fish Spice level 4 w/cilantro & 2shrimp tacos/fish spice level 3 w/cilantro. I stepped outside and the Mr came out with the food. (big mistake since I am known to check my order when i receive it). We received 2fish tacos/ 1shrimp NO cilantro & 2 fish tacos/1shrimp w/cilantro. Also the boxes werent labeled so he ended up with mine which was too spicy for him and I got his which was no where near as spicy as I prefer. With all that being said. WE WILL MOST DEFINITELY BE BACK. lmao. Those tacos was BUSSIN BUSSIN! I just know to check my order next time. lol But this is definitely going to be a spot we come back to again and again. That food was just OUTSTANDING! I cant wait to bring my friends and family from out of town here as well. Thank you Tacotastic. U have new regulars :D

10/28/25 Edit: I feel it's only right to update after that long winded review lol. We have indeed been back regularly. I would say 3-4 times a month since this review. That order mix-up had to be a fluke because we've not had that occur once since we've been returning. Also my new favorite is the Quesadilla. I go lighter on the cheese but it's my new Go To...

I love these tacos. I have been using them since they opened, I plan on hiring them to cater my wedding. Due to my job I host several foreign and domestic sales consultants and such. I always bring them to this taco stand after drinks. I recently had a friend from college who's family owns a farm in Mexico come in. He couldn’t handle the 5/5 heat level, and also praised the owner’s for the due diligence to the product, cleanliness and customer service. If you do not just go and try these tacos you are honestly missing out on some of the grass roots local eateries that are the very threads that make up the cultural patchwork this city is.

Also all his sauces are made in house I recommend trying all of them when you go to the stand you will not be disappointed... if you...
