Not gonna be a Karen, but i am going to be completely factual. We were a party of 15. We arrived into town the Wednesday morning of thanksgiving week and wanted a drink before the day of excursions. We stopped into this place at 1030am. The nicest guy (Barback or kitchen?) invited us in. Said he couldn’t turn away group of 15 ppl wanting to spend money & have fun. He was super attentive asking our music choice, where we were from, etc. We enjoyed him.
The blonde bartender walked from out back saw us all at the bar and that’s when the rudeness began. To expand, she began mumbling under her breath the entire time. She made a loud comment that “she will not be able to set up her bar in time for opening”…. (Reminder this is a Wednesday morning 10 min walk away from bourbon street) we never rushed her. we tip more than well being from the hospitality industry. She did not smile once. Did not say a word the entire time. We ordered simply, beer cans, shots of straight tequila that is poured directly from the bottle probably taken approximately 10 seconds each. She then proceeded to complete her opening duties slamming cups and slamming doors open. I have never experienced service this horrible. The most entitled rude arrogant service all 15 people equally agree we ever received. ** If you made it this far, the good news is her horrible service had set quite a low standard that all of New Orleans has surpassed. Cheers to people who can...
Read moreWe were a party of six and we all ordered at the same time Our guest ordered the nachos and once our food was delivered not before they were informed there were no chips to make nachos Then ordered salad which also wasn't available Finally ordered the roast beef with debris and it was pathetic, debris means the gravy, onions, pepper, etc are served over the roast beef Bartender/server didn't know the difference Terrible experience and bartender was more interested in conversing with his friends at the bar Never once offered to comp our 2 guest meals which were horrible and took forever and then had The audacity to add a ridiculous automatic gratuity Someone needs to train him in service and customer communication I know what I'm talking about I owned two restaurants that did in excess of 4 million a year in sales Will never return and will never suggest your very poorly operation Good luck with employees like him Our visit was Monday December...

Tucked away in the Arts District, this unassuming little dive bar quickly became the highlight of our girls trip. It’s the kind of place where the music is just right, the drinks are strong, and the vibes are always good.
What truly sets it apart, though, is the owner. He’s a gem—genuine, welcoming, and full of that classic New Orleans hospitality. He remembered our names after just one visit and went out of his way to make sure we were having the best time. Thanks to him, we ended every night of our trip here, laughing, dancing, and soaking up the magic.
There’s nothing fancy or pretentious about it, and that’s exactly the charm. It’s the kind of place where strangers become friends, and every visit feels like coming home. If you find yourself in NOLA, do yourself a favor—stop by & see...
