Read moreMy recent visit to The Vault NOLA for Sunday brunch presented several operational challenges. While I was eager to experience the venue/food based on Facebook videos/pictures, the reality proved less than ideal. Upon arrival, the establishment was overcrowded, and parking was limited in the surrounding residential area, creating logistical difficulties.
Once inside, the layout and seating arrangements were very tight, hindering the waitstaff's ability to navigate the space and impacting customers' movement. The hostess seemed overstressed and overwhelmed coordinating with supervisor on guests who arrived without a reservation as well as helping out whereever she was needed.
Furthermore, the ambience was affected by excessively loud music and an apparent staff shortage, resulting in delayed drink service and checkout.
Unfortunately, the expected aromas of freshly prepared food were absent and made me hesitant about the experience. Upon examining the buffet, I observed that many food pans were uncovered, leading to food being served at room temperature.
Furthermore, there appeared to be insufficient monitoring of the food, with some items being unavailable. The single chef managing waffle, egg, and other breakfast station struggled to keep up with the high demand.
Due to the slow pace of food replenishment, I was discouraged from partaking in additional servings of food. I consumed a minimal amount of food, primarily because I prefer my meals to be served hot. I sampled the chicken and sausage gumbo, which was quite salty and the only hot dish available, along with the fresh fruit, which lacked sweetness.
While The Vault NOLA possess considerable potential for growth and improvement, I regret to say I will not be returning at this time.
This experience particularly the cost of $50 per person, including the automatic 18% gratuity was simply not worth it to me. Until my next food adventure.~...

Good afternoon all. My experience 1:00pm: • the venue was overbooked • lines were extremely long • they ran out of product at the omelette station I called ahead and asked if drinks were included in the price and was told no it was separate. I then asked if there were refills with tea & soda with separate pricing and was told yes. When I arrived today, I was told no refills but water was unlimited. Now, they told me no refills on soda because they come in a can. I can understand. Why wasn’t tea refillable? Don’t know but the server’s gave me mix messaging. Some said yes, some said no and others were unsure. I did not request a refill because I didn’t want the extra charge. On the website it doesn’t say. I believe at $70 a person (8 in my party total $560) tea should be refillable. There were other things that I can touch on but my experience wasn’t pleasant and I will not be returning. One last point, the owners were there today and visible. The server’s I spoke with did ask me if I wanted to talk to the owner and I told them no because at the time I was ready to go. The difference between a good business and great business is that I would want to know immediately if I have an unhappy customer so that I can provide the best experience possible. I want that customer to know that they have my undivided attention. The customers experience is most valuable to the business. Their problem or concern should be addressed immediately and they are always appreciated. No one showed up to my table however my servers were...
