A True Gem of a Pub – Classic Vibes, Top-Notch Drinks If you’re looking for a proper English bar with a welcoming atmosphere and an authentic lineup of drinks, this neighborhood spot is an absolute winner. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with warm, friendly faces and the kind of charm that only comes from a place that truly knows what it’s doing. Their Guinness is poured perfectly – rich, creamy, and smooth, just as it should be. Harp lovers will appreciate the crisp, clean draft that’s hard to come by these days. Whiskey aficionados will find themselves at home too, with a solid selection that includes Powers and Jameson served just right – no frills, just quality. What really sets this place apart is its dedication to doing the classics justice. The English G&T here is refreshing... Whether you’re popping in for a quick pint or settling in for a longer session with friends, the drinks never miss. There’s a timeless pub feel here – cozy, unpretentious, and full of character. It’s the kind of place you return to, not just for the drinks, but for the atmosphere and community. Highly recommended for anyone who enjoys a proper pint and a taste of English tradition. Cheers!

What a lovely pub. Eclectic decor. I loved the hanging mugs. It's a small and cozy bar.

Love this lil gym I genuinely enjoy the atmosphere and authentic experience of the local community pub amazing space for personal parties and you have to try the malört it’s definitely a right of passage the bartender is an artist of his craft the wife’s maby ordered 150 lemon drops from not just New Orleans but around the country and I’ll second her opinion of his work being by far the best balance and flavor of such a simple drink a artful masterpiece in a dimly lit English pub on the banks of the Mississippi on the point of Algiers Louisiana work the trip work a chip or dip in out of the rain the owners a berry nice man and a local customer of his own house so if you have a shilling to spare ide recommend taking a seat and most importantly DOG FRIENDLY as long as your dogs friendly love this place can’t wait to go back for more!

This establishment is located in Algiers point which is around the Ferry that takes you across to the other side of the river. The drinks here are expensive compare to drinks you would buy at other bars such as Ms. Maes or Murphy's that's located in Gretna that has cheap drinks and allows you to bring your pet inside the cozy establishment. The staff members and also the owner of this establishment is not very customer friendly! I did notice the owner trying to find out what every patron that comes into his establishment do for a living, for what reason I can only imagine! I've notice the bathroom has no toilet tissue nor anything to wipe your hands off with. I've also notice that this establishment has alot of security cameras inside and especially outside, as if the owner wants to catch a patron with there pants down in order to mess up there lively hood, by already knowing what that patron does for a living, than the owner goes to his or her employer to get them fired! I've notice alot of military guys patronizing this establishment and I want you all to be aware that this established owner does have you on servallance camera and to not divulge alot of what you do for the military! The area this establishment is located on is in a shady area and you should be aware of your surroundings! I stop going to this establishment after seeing were the location was, and cameras around the establishment, and what has happen to my fellow service member recently! I would not patronize this establishment nor would I recommend this establishment to my friends nor family. But I highly recommend all my fellow service members to start patronizing "Murphy's"thats located in Gretna, LA. So check out this place that offer cheap drinks and the staff that welcomes each patron...
