Super impressed. Ordered the Caesar salad, beet salad, arancini, Fay Belle pizza, Hot Boi pizza and chocolate budino for dessert. All delicious and spot-on crust for stated Napoletana style. Oh how I love the spots of crusty flame-licked black charred spots on the top outer crust! Fay Belle was my favorite and the slice I had left was nearly as good the next morning for breakfast! One thing to note- they don't accept cash- which is fine, I 100% support a private business to make their own decisions on how they conduct business. Just kinda think there should be a sign somewhere (on the door, chalkboard specials sign out front, on the menu- online or physical). Maybe I missed it. Slim possibility because I was so excited to go to this place, I thoroughly researched ahead of time by studying the menu online and reading dozens of google reviews. Not a problem, I was paying with a card anyway but in my experience, when the shoe is on the other foot and the restaurant/business is "cash only" there's signs EVERYWHERE. Still had a great experience and the food was fantastic and I really enjoyed the one beer they had on tap (they're new). Can't wait to go back!

I’m so disappointed at this restaurant. I saw the pictures and the menu before going there. I ordered the Fay Belle because I saw the pictures online and on Google and it looked great. It was not. There was barely any arugula and ridiculous tiny pieces of prosciutto. It looked nothing like the pictures. When I told the waitress that I was very disappointed and showed her the pictures, she told me they change the way they make the pizzas once in a while, and that was her “excuse”. I think she meant they decrease the amount of topping they put on the pizza to save money. Unfortunately, I didn’t take a pic of the entire pizza, but the slice on the pic is exact like the rest of the pizza. On top of that, instead of showing some interest in trying to make things better, the waitress got mad that I complained and showed some attitude. It’s sad, cause this place had a lot of potential.

Two of our party of 5 decided to start with splitting a chopped salad off the specials menu. It was oh so delicious and large enough for all of our party (3 are large men) to have a small serving. We all loved the Fun Guy Pizza until we tasted the Supreme (also on the specials menu). It was fantastic! I found myself craving it while eating it. And my aperol spritz was the best I've ever had. Service was lovely and attentive. Only complaint was how warm it was inside but it's late June so I imagine the air conditioner was getting a work out. We visit New Orleans several times a year and Nighthawk will definitely be a must-visit going forward. Outstanding job, y'all!!

We had takeout. We got the LeBlanc pizza with added con fit garlic and a pepperoni pizza with sausage added. We also ordered a Ceasar salad. The salad was great. Dressing was fresh and bright with a lemony note. Croutons crispy and salty. The pizzas were overall good but not outstanding. I love this style of pizza but the meat toppings and mozzarella on the pepperoni pizza were very sparse. The red sauce was excellent with just the right amount of sweetness. The LeBlanc pizza was well topped however the crust was very bitter. I expect a little bitterness with wood fired pizza but this was intense and overtook any other flavors. Someone is leaving too much flour on the stone/oven floor. I think the pepperoni pizza was likely bitter too but the sauce offset that bitterness. I can tolerate some bitterness but it was pretty harsh with the Leblanc. I can see this being a reason for future complaints.

Lastly we ordered the chocolate budino for dessert. I'm not certain what other flavors are added to it...it tasted like maybe an orange liqueur and cayenne. The chocolate felt secondary to these flavor components. I would have enjoyed it more if these flavors were more subtle. If you don't like heat(spice) in your desserts skip this one.

We can't say anything about the atmosphere having done takeout but I'm excited to do a sit down meal here in the future and try other items. Hopefully they'll get the oven sweeping thing...

We came in as a party of 10 at 4pm on a Thursday. The neighborhood is very quaint right by the levee in Algiers. The service was fabulous and the food was exceptional. Rachel was our server and walked us through the whole menu before ordering. She was attentive and great with the kids we had with us. We had a bottle of champagne, the arancini, meatballs, and the caesar salad to start. Each appetizer was delicious and perfect for sharing. The sourdough croutons in the salad were a highlight to me - both crunchy and a tad chewy. Our pizzas included the hot boi, cheese (for the kids), pepperoni, and fun gus. The dough/crust was to die for! As a mom I really appreciated that the food came out rather quickly and the noise level was perfect (I never felt like I had to tell the kids to be quiet because it was a busy and lively vibe). We can't wait to come back and try more of the menu and wines! This hot new spot is the perfect addition to the...
