This place is the best!!! My friend and I parked across the street from the Will & the Way while getting ready to hit Bourbon Street for the night. I def needed to eat beforehand because you know we were getting ready to drink A LOT. The small little black hanging sign that said DRINKS caught my eye and it looked like an interesting place to get a drink and decide where to eat. Well we didn't have to look any further! This place is small inside but so well put together. The Courtyard out back is beautiful too! The Bartender, Tristan, was so nice (and Cute) and helpful! He suggested drinks and food. I couldn't choose between the Salt & Pepper Chicken and the Roasted Sweet Corn Tamale. He recommended the Tamale and I'm SO glad he did! Their food is to DIE FOR! The drinks were too... awesome drinks! This is hands down one of the top 3 places I've ever eaten in NOLA, and I've been visiting the City for 36 years! Try the Gold Rush Cocktail... Bourbon, Lemon, and Honey! I can't believe I'd never tried that before since it's my 3 favorite things to put in any kind of drink! A cold hot toddy kind of thing only WAYYY better!! And if you're a vegetarian like me, there's plenty of options, including the Korean French Fries 🍟, the Roasted Sweet Corn Tamale 🫔 and so much more (Try the Pickle Platter!!!). You just can't go wrong. I'll definitely be back next time I...

Not a fan. The drinks were mediocre at best & the service was inconsistent. The ambiance & food was good.

We ordered 1st round of drinks & water with the early crew. I was surprised they tasted kinda gross. Hoping for redemption with the night crew we ordered food & 2nd round of diff drinks. These drinks were not good either. Very surprised bc I'd heard good things about this place. This now means we've ordered 4 mediocre drinks off the reg specialty cocktail menu. The saving grace of my experience was the food. When we asked for more water the bartender said I'd have to retrieve my own water. I mentioned that 1st crew gave us water & we didn't want to get up bc we were eating. She basically stood her ground & refused to give us water then walked away & immediately went outside to smoke. I looked down the bar & saw bottles of water for guests sitting on top the bar 2 chairs down! So, even tho 1st bartender served it to us I got up & retrieved my own water as 2nd rude bartender demanded. Y'all! Is it really that hard when someone asks kindly to b served water? If all I wanted was water I def understand but we had 2 rounds of drinks & food....really?!?! News flash, common courtesy goes a long way.....as well as consistent service. Needless to say bad drinks & rude bartenders = bad experience Def...

BEST CHEESEBURGER IN MY LIFE. This is one of just a handful of reviews I've ever bothered to leave for a restaurant, but I had to share how incredible this food was. We hit some of the highest rated restaurants during our visit to New Orleans, but this place blew them all out of the water. I was so sad when I finished my cheeseburger because it meant I couldn't have any more of it (my wife wouldn't let me order another one to go). Plus, my wife has Celiac Disease, and I couldn't get enough of her food either. They have a dedicated gluten-free fryer, and their chicken wings were better than any other wings I've had. I love Frank's Buffalo sauce, but I would cut you if you tried to put it on these wings. Finally, the fries were perfect. They were crispy and had the most amazing seasoning. I got a to-go order on the way to the airport, and it was even better the second time. They have a cute courtyard, but who cares because the food is the best you can find. I will never again visit New Orleans without...

Found this bar on Eater. Certainly not the vibe I'm use to, but that's okay and seems to be New Orleans, which is why we go in the first place. My girlfriend had their signature Apollonia and I had the classic Daiquiri. The bartender with a beard and a Goober-esque style hat makes a belter of a daiquiri. Only a three ingredient cocktail, but one can tell a lot about a bar based on their riff on a classic. I scarfed down three of those and a couple cans of cider. The establishment seems pet friendly for any pet owners looking to have a drink. Pity we didn't get to try the food, but we had dinner reservations elsewhere. Their loaded fries look delicious. Will certainly be back to explore the rest of the menu. For whatever reason there was a bottle of Malört on their shelf. Intriguing group of bartenders to say the least...clearnly not afraid to dabble in the dark arts.

Came here on a Saturday night during our visit to NoLa. The bartenders were great and fairly efficient considering the lines at the bar. We ordered a couple of cocktails and the spicy chicken over grits and fries. The chicken was nice and crispy and had a kick which made the whole dish enjoyable for a late night app. There was no line when we came in, but when leaving there was a line waiting to get in. The food came out really quickly which was surprising considering how busy it was. Our only big issue was the line for the restrooms which took a while since they only have 2 individual restrooms so a line formed that went half way through the patio. Overall, it was a nice place to pop into! Even if it was busy, we didn't feel like we couldn't move or get through the crowds so they do a nice job at controlling capacity.

My team and I traveled to New Orleans for a national conference. We wanted a space to host our peers from all over the country and chose The Will & The Way as our venue. Absolute 10/10 experience. Carolyn and Tom were the best bartenders I could have asked for. They were attentive and played music for us and really embraced us as visitors to the city. They also were conscious of our spending limit for expenses and made sure all of guests enjoyed great well crafted drinks. We literally packed the place out on a Tuesday night. The appetizers were awesome. And they even had a patio area out back that people could enjoy as there were so many people there. Thank you to this amazing venue for taking such great care of my team and our guests. I will would highly recommend for group outing.
