Modifying review after positive experience

Originally received the ring but had not noticed rattling with it until I proposed multiple months later. Initially called Porter Lyon’s and was told about warranty, but was told multiple false assumptions about the ring which deterred us from bringing it in for the warranty. The employee told us the warranty wouldn’t cover extra prongs and that the rattling was either normal or self inflicted. My fiancee received even less help without an order number when she called.

After posting reviews of our experience, management reached out and were able to refund us the amount we paid to fix the ring.

Porter Lyon’s does take pride on their products and resolved the issue in the end. This was a highly frustrating experience that turned positive by the upper management team.

We are happy with the design of the ring and it is beautiful.

If you have to get a warranty done, it is best to bring it in or speak directly with someone who might be more knowledgeable on products and coverage.

I’ve been shopping at Porter Lyons for a few years — the service is nothing short of impeccable. I could go on and on! The pieces are unique and high quality. I make it a habit to wash all of my jewelry weekly and have never had an issue with stones falling out, etc.

I’ve purchased small earrings and even had my cartilage pierced here earlier this year — I had my eye on a smaller gold hoop, but was advised to go slightly larger because of swelling and it was absolutely the right call.

I had a pair of the snake hoops that I wanted to switch out stones on, and they very graciously did the customization in a timely fashion.
