Refreshingly simple. The taste combinations are exact and well thought out. Every taste point gets hit, in every bite, combining seamlessly with textures. There is no place to hide in this food. Nothing canned, nothing farmed in hot houses and harvested by machine. These ingredients were created or caught with care, merged the same day by an artist, and placed in front of you. Substitutions or changes are politely declined for a reason. Each ingredient is balanced perfectly by Chef, and frankly, if you aren't willing to go on the adventure he created, you shouldn't be eating here. The back of the house might well be in Sims park. They are so efficient and unobtrusive, it's almost as if it is not in the same building.

Yoir food is requested to polite, knowledgeable staff then, placed in front of you. If your timing is right, that bartender will be Heather. More then an expert mixologist, this french trained, super attentive, memory like an elephant professional, manages to make every single person at the bar, feel like she has been just waiting until you got there. Trust her palate. She knows more then you. Expediting between the two is done flawlessly. I have never had to ask for, well, anything. Steak knives, extra plate, water refill, seasoning, NOTHING. What you want or need is being taken care of before you actually need it. That's how good the staff is. I wish I could say something needed improving. It doesn't. From walking in the door opened by the hostess all the way through the donuts is perfect. It is put together by a team much, much more talented than I am. I am just lucky enough to be a short...

Where to begin with this gem of a restaurant. I made the reservations a few weeks ago to celebrate our 14th wedding anniversary. I made these reservations ahead because I am vegan and have many food allergies. This generally means I usually only eat salads when I go out. When we arrived there was a handwritten anniversary card on the table signed by all the staff. Our server, April, greeted us promptly and gave us each a glass of champagne to start off our celebration. As we were looking at the menu, April came by to say that the chef had worked on a special 2 course menu for me, taking into account all my dietary needs. Needless to say, I was pleasantly surprised and very excited! The food was beyond amazing. My dishes were beautifully and thoughtfully composed, and DELICIOUS. My husband, too, loved his pork chop and the banana pie. If you are looking for an all-around great restaurant with a good vibe, excellent service, great cocktails, and wonderful food, this is your place. AND if you have special dietary needs I would highly recommend this restaurant, you won't be disappointed. Be sure to let the restaurant know in advance of any special dietary requests. We loved our dinner so much... we are going back with friends on Sunday for brunch. I can't wait to see what the chef comes up with. Thank you again, Chef and April, for making our...

It would be wise to spend your money elsewhere.

Response to Owner: Let's put it all on the table. You have one of the worst attitudes that I've ever seen in a kitchen, especially as an owner. You talk down to your employees daily and are always threatening to send them home for the smallest things. In the week that I was there you made it unbearable not only for myself but everyone in the kitchen. For some reason you have a holier-than-thou "I'll just do it myself" attitude and bragging about your time spent in Las Vegas. When you get in your employees face and are always threatening their jobs, they will continue to leave you without notice. I was the second one to do it to you in the week that I was there. Walking away from that kind of treatment IS the adult thing to do, because jail isn't the answer. Clearly I am not the only one who feels this way based on your daily reservation counts, not being able to keep employees, your no customer modification stance, and always crying about how many "millions of dollars" in debt you are. It's very clear why you have the reputation you do in the industry and why none of the other businesses in the area are fond of you.

So as I said initially, it is a wise decision for customer to spend there money elsewhere, as it looks like they are doing and you can continue to cry about how no one wants to...

It's frustrating when supposedly a higher-end restaurant doesn't offer gluten-free options while more affordable ones are accommodating. In today's world, awareness about gluten intolerance is widespread, yet some places fail to cater to it. It's almost amusing when they highlight a salad as gluten-free; obviously, most salads are. I wish these places would expand their offerings beyond salads to include gluten-free pasta or sandwiches. It's disheartening to feel limited to just a few options because of a dietary restriction. Even in the area, there is a health food grocery store offering alternatives, that they can easily support and purchase some for their restaurant. Instead of just wheat-based options, they could provide alternatives like chopped carrots for dipping in hummus. I had hoped to make this restaurant my go-to during my stay, but now I'll have to search for places with more inclusive menus. Edit to reply to the restaurant. Your restaurant made a hummus dip by removing the bread but did not offer anything in return to substitute it. Your menu in print says changes and modifications are declined, which is so pompous. I have never seen a restaurant's menu ever say that! I hope you have a change of heart and accommodate people's dietary needs in the future.
