Bourbon On Main — Restaurant in New Port Richey

Went Sunday night at the outside bar, when we arrived The bartender greeted us and told us he could not get draft beer after I asked. It was inside only? So me and my friend continued our evening chatted about our day and catching up. He came back and checked on us and asked if we wanted to get something to eat, we decided to hold off for a while and ordered another round of beer. Annoyingly a set of five people Sat down at the table next to us and they all got draft beer? Woah...cmon now Kind of off guard, I felt like the bartender wasn’t serving us like the rest of the bar for some reason. If we both were having such a good time together we would have left. We decided to order two appetizers and so I asked him if I could have a draft of Stella. He came back with our food and told me he cannot go back inside and grab me another one kind of rudely. I work in the service industry and I always tip people 20%so I was now annoyed...we went to her car because her alarm went off in the lot, so I then gave him my credit card to hold out tab for a minute. He basically grabbed my card and didn’t acknowledge much while he chatted w someone at the bar. And hour later after we decided to leave I went up and paid him our tab. I honestly forgot I gave him my card so I paid with my debit. If the guy was actually on top of his game he would have given my card back!! I went home and noticed my card was gone and called the next day and it was still there. I definitely don’t think I will be back for the bad experience and professionalism he...

I have been here a few times always late night. The food has always been a disappointment minus the nachos, those were not terrible. The male bartender with the longer hair has always been nice. We have had a few now. Never have we had an issue with our id's. We literally walked there to get a little exercise in and dinner. It was obvious we were hot, sweaty and needing water. I do not drink so I did not bring my id with me because why would I need it? Well I was wrong. Apparently, (which is not posted anywhere and has literally never ever been an issue before) you need an id. The girl who told us (black hair with glasses did not do so in a kind manner). (Word of advice... if you do not like your job or can't pretend to like it or people .... do not work in hospitality. It ruins yours establishments reputation. Despite the food never being out favorite we went back to see if maybe they had an off night prior. We have still suggested this place to others when they asking for recommendations. Not anymore. I understand rules and I understand why they are in place. What I do not understand is that we we're not given a courtesy or told hey next time this will not happen. (Having worked in hospitality myself for the better part of 15 years, that is always how management has handled the situation at a lot nicer places). I had a copy of my id on my phone front and back. Still not accepted. Oh well I understand. What I do not understand is how...

Just had the worst experience ever at Bourbon On Main, a place I go every single week and recommend to people constantly. An embarrassing display by your weekend GM, I genuinely understand weekends are busy and loud, but if you can't fix two issues of poor food quality/your waitress taking the wrong order, idk if that is the position for you lol.

Absolute shame, genuinely one of my favorite restaurants where I recommend to out of towners looking for good food. I honestly don't think I'll be doing that any longer, I don't think I can put my support behind a business that would have a policy like that.

Really a shame, I never like doing this. I write amazing, positive reviews for local businesses and do all I can to uplift them, but I feel obligated to speak out about how horrible this way.

Never thought I'd be this mad about a local restaurant I love and support acting this way but I guess it is what it is. I'd have some genuine concern recommending them again after this unless something is done. Your GM coming up and disrespecting customers, asking THEM to take a loss for the fact your staff messed up an order (after an absolutely bone dry chicken sandwich I had to send back because it was disgusting) is borderlines unacceptable.

Oh well, I had to say something. I highly recommend staying AWAY from here on weekend nights if this is believed to be the way customers should be treated. Gross...
