I have frequented this store for several years now and always have had a great experience. However, when I took a ring I bought from them earlier this year to my jeweler to finally get it sized I found out that what I thought was a tourmaline center stone was in fact just a moonstone. I paid a lot of money for the ring, and I thought I was getting a great deal on a unique tourmaline ring, which is how the ring was labeled by its seller. Finding this out was very disappointing to me. On another visit, I also purchased a turquoise cuff bracelet that I was told was a Chaco piece, and when I did more research upon getting home I was disappointed to find out it was a Desert Rose Trading piece. Nothing against Desert Rose, but again I felt misled by the seller into making the purchase as Chaco is a bit more expensive. I have educated myself more so I will be able to try to verify what I am being told and/or reading on the labels. I accept my responsibility in this fact, but when you think you are getting a tourmaline stone by the label, and when it is fact a moonstone can be a bit of a shock. Trust but verify to the best of your ability, especially on the higher priced items. I still recommend shopping here and will be back, but again am disappointed in the mislabeling and lack of research by the seller, after all they are...

I went into the store to see if the owner was interested 10 antique brass drawer pulls. His first response was insulting saying something to the nature of "I doubt that" like they were probably piece's of junk and I don't know what I'm talking about.
