Heads up - NO LONGER FREE! Today, I took my kids, who really like this museum and the scavenger hunt, along with my sister who just moved to NPR. We walked in and were “greeted” with “it’s a $3 DONATION per family now.” Okay, that’s reasonable, but I don’t have cash on me. She then opened the door and proceeded to point us to another building we could go to instead. I’m pretty sure the word donation doesn’t mean mandatory, but apparently to the woman today it does. As I stated, $3.00 isn’t bad to go check the museum out, my kids enjoy it, but how this woman went about it was incredibly disrespectful and if that’s how she plans on treating people that go in there then good luck getting those “donations.”
Otherwise, cute little museum! They have a scavenger hunt my children like to do and lots of history...

The Historical Society houses an excellent assortment of exhibits that highlight the town's founding members, in addition to some of its famous guests and residents.
