Six Strings and Superheroes — Local services in New Port Richey

What a find! Must-Visit place in New Port Richey. We literally wrote "Comics" on the map, looking for something to do in NPR, got to the place and got caught out of guard. This place is so awesome. Old school vibe with welcoming environment. Looks like the place coming out of a movie where everyone feels free to share random passions.

I was surprised to find out this was also a guitar shrine. (Again, I didn't ever read the name 😂)

All of this dwindls in comparison to the vibes we got from the Steve, the owner and certified "Main Character Aura" human. The dude is so cool Shout out to the legend Scott Spillman who we also had the honor to meet and talk. @scottspillmanart in IG

I would love to talk about the offering they have, but honestly, Steve has an amazing collection of comics, merch, funkos and a lot of other stuff. It's the vibe that wins you over. We need more places like this in society. Safe spaces for people to share their passions and stories about art and nerdiness.

My family and I were thrilled to attend the amazing event at Six Strings & Superheroes this past weekend! We were excited to meet Lou Ferrigno. As we fans waited for him to arrive we experienced a special camaraderie with the other fans in a Marvel-ous atmosphere. This store is amazing and filled with great collectible merchandise. When Lou Ferrigno did arrive we were so excited and cheered for him as the store owner greeted and welcomed him. The fun was just beginning! We were thrilled to get autographs and photos with our idol. I want to thank Six Strings & Superheroes for giving us the opportunity to share in this special experience. In addition on May 3, 2025 there’s going to be another special event FREE COMIC BOOK DAY!...

Steve and his team are incredible, they have created an all inclusive friendly environment that’s approachable to all ages.

The shop is always clean and I’m always greeted at the door. They have the best selection of key issue comics I have ever seen, with a focus on first appearance’s. The stock is constantly rotating and I find myself looking at something new and incredible every time I visit.

Oh did I mention the back of the shop has a beautiful selection of guitars and accessories?
