The prices were not the same prices that were on the menu, and the owner added many extra taxes and unnecessary charges. The sandwich was only half a sandwich, and the burger was very very small. The French fries weren't even in a packet, and they were just in the bag, which is very unhygienic and goes against the Department of Health policies. Overall, just a horrible experience in general and I don't recommend anyone to come to this place anytime soon. I believe there are many better options around the area. Not to mention, when we called to describe our dismay, the owner rudely said to just not come back if we like, if we don't like the prices and many other people welcome and uh, the opinions of one person doesn't really matter. The opinions of the many matter. All we were trying to do was just describe how horrible the service was in a nice way. But he decided to be disrespectful and talk about his 16 years of service, like, I don't understand how that's very relevant.

I can't believe I never knew this place existed in my neighborhood after 10+ years of living here. Apparently, this diner has been running for 15 years. I came here on a whim, but my experience ended up being better than I had expected. First off, it was refreshing to see such a clean looking diner. The interior is clean and well-decorated, good old school diner vibes without the grime. My bf and I ordered their classic 57 burger with classic fries and an order of their waffles. Both were great, but we especially liked their burger. It was a simple burger, but it tasted fresh. It didn't taste oily/greasy at all and the the patty was well seasoned and cooked. I love that it came with a side of pickles The only downside is that it's an extra $2 to add a slice of cheese onto the burger. The shoestring fries were mediocre, so I would opt to upgrade to their other fries next time (waffle, curly, etc.) I'll definitely be back when I'm craving a burger.

Did an advanced order through Uber Eats for three people. A couple hours before the cutoff, I edited my order changing my soda from a black cherry to a diet root beer and removing the mac 'n cheese bites. They swapped the soda, but kept the mac 'n cheese bites without charging me. Strange, but hey, you wanna give me free mac 'n cheese bites? No big deal. What IS a big deal is that I ordered a chicken sandwich called the Edsel and it was the saddest chicken sandwich I've ever had. This thing was so greasy, I could practically see my reflection in the bun. I had to clean my hands off with a napkin every time I touched it. The inside was soggy. Completely flavorless. I could've made a better chicken sandwich myself, and I can barely scramble an egg. If this is how this diner makes all their sandwiches and burgers, then count me out.

Don't go on Sunday. Owner doesn't know how to handle stress with busy dinner and not children friendly. My friend has been a frequent goers to this place it shocked me how my friend was treated. She told me this experience of hers . The older women server and the owner/ manager had treated her and her family on a Sunday morning. They walked in as usual looking forward for the diner's food. It was packed but it was a good signed . But the mid age women server was in a very bad mood. She said to them please wait for a table and suggesed a table near the entrance and it was a very windy day when her small child just recover from a cold. Then the owner/ manager said that he don't want to serve them that table anyway which is for six people. So my friend try to sit at the bar and trying to order , and said if there is a table can they switch since the child is too small to sit at the bar area. Then the owner said to my friend in fact he don't want to serve them and kick my friend and her child out of the diner because she was speaking too loud when she was being very friendly . My friend requested t9o order the food to go and the owner / manager said no to my friend, then the women server push my friend and her child out the door when the child is only 5 years old. My friend is am Asian American and the owner was surprisingly bad temper towards them and because my friend had requested to order the food to go when they decided not to give them the table when there is one, and kick them out because the restaurant can not handle customers in a professional way when is busy. My friend have never spoken to them in a bad manner but they claimed that she spoke to them rude when they were the one who doesn't want to deal with the situation. This dinner has no human heart, and has no consideration with Asian customers. If you have small child do think twice to go when is a busy Sunday because this is not the first time I heard about this restaurant treating customers in a...

The inside of 57’s Diner is absolutely beautiful — it’s clean, well-organized, and has a charming retro vibe that initially raised my hopes. Unfortunately, everything goes downhill once you sit down to eat.

The food was a major disappointment. The burger looked like a knockoff Shake Shack attempt, usually when you get a diner burger it’s big and juicy.. The fries resembled McDonald’s, they could’ve gotten better frozen fries that look homemade atleast.. The onion rings showed up dry and without any sauce — I thought they were supposed to come with ranch, but maybe I was mistaken.

Service was another issue. Our waiter, a bald-headed man, was far from pleasant. He didn’t bother to ask what drink or ice cream flavor my daughter wanted with her kids’ meal, which feels like basic service for a family-friendly diner. When I asked if I could substitute fries for mozzarella sticks in the combo appetizer — and even said I didn’t mind paying a little extra — he flatly and rudely said no. That forced me to order the mozzarella sticks separately, which came at an outrageous price for such a small portion.

All in all, it was a bad experience. The decor is the only thing this place has going for it. Between the bland, overpriced food and rude service, I won’t...

Nothing wrong with the food, but the service is yet to be desired. I really do not recommend ordering online at all. I live just 4 blocks away and it takes them over an hour to deliver my food. This occurred actually more than 3 times. Now the straw that broke the camel's back was when it took over 2 hours to receive my delivery, and when calling them to check up where's my food. The cocky manager/owner tells me they came by my place, rang my doorbell and called my phone in which they didn't. They had the wrong address!!!! Wrong order!!! Wrong phone number!!!! Then they had the audacity to tell me I'm in the wrong before even verifying my phone number!!! My address!!! My order!!! An apology and a free meal doesn't cut the fact that I tried this service multiple times and never once has it even been worth it. DO NOT ORDER FOR DELIVERY AT ALL!!!! Never again will I even bother getting anything from them at all, and I hope you all get my warning before the same...
