89 DELI & GRILL — Restaurant in New York

I’ve used this deli for a couple of years, both uber eats and showing in person. The sandwiches are great. Today on Oct 7th 2025, I ordered through uber eats a bacon egg and cheese on a roll. I finished half and upon taking a bite of the second half, I notice a dark spot about the size of a grain of rice that was on the bread. I pull it out with a napkin and I absolutely cannot eliminate the possibility that this is some mouse poop. I wanted to make an excuse that this is something else but I can’t think of anything, the rest of the sandwich doesn’t not have any other spot like that. I’ve seen mouse droppings before and I’m positive this is one. I’m attaching photos. The third one is the spot with I found this “debris” embedded in the fold...

I’m so glad I found this spot. Craving a good deli sandwich but the bodegas around my area have been lackin’ as of late. So, I hit seamless & this spot had a great rating & the photos of the sandwiches looked great. Ordered the “Mayor Sandwich” & a beef patty with coco bread with bacon & pepper Jack… yes, that’s a great combo if you’re wondering.

It came and it was wrapped up well with foils and paper - keeping the items nice and warm.

The Mayor sandwich was a good combo of chicken cutlet, bacon, mozzarella, and fries! Nicely toasted hero. Delicious & filling. Had to save half for later cuz I devoured that beef patty!

I’ve since reordered here 3 other times & it’s been on point.

Food was abhorrent would never buy or order anything from this establishment. I bought a chopped cheese and ended up spitting it out my mouth and throwing it out insanely putrid what they would serve to people. Very old meat, stale and has been there for weeks, grill is very dirty filled with leftover meat on there that they don’t clean at all overall would not recommend anyone to buy any hot foods at this place due to the old stale expired food please go to Sam’s deli they are way better and only one block away...
