Ho Wong — Restaurant in New York

I've ordered from many chinese food places and I have to say, these guys are the best! I called and ordered for carry-out but I made a mistake and forgot a piece of my order. When I called back and asked if i could make a change they told me they had already made my order so I said that's fine! I didn't think anything of it but when i got to the restaurant they had changed my order for me and remade it. The food is delicious! I got boneless spare ribs and normally the ribs have a lot of fat or are over cooked but these are PERFECT! Also the kitchen looks very clean and so do the workers :) I love it! I ordered the spareribs with white rice and homemade ice tea. The ribs where very hard and chewy. Very tasty but quality of the meat was terrible. The rice tasted old as well had a weird taste like when you haven't clean the rice cooker in a while(I also found a small hair). The home made ice was basically sugar water with a hint of ice tea and a slice of an old lemon at the bottom that had probably been sitting in the fridge for days. The restaurant has changed its name to No 1 Chinese restaurant and we ordered two simple dishes from them last week as a trial. Roast pork egg foo young and shrimp with garlic sauce. The food was competent though the shrimp was very sweet . The delivery came within 15 minutes and it was a weekend night! The food was hot and good. I hope they keep it up!
