Update review Aug 26, 2024: Went here earlier and shrimp was sold out. I haven't tried it yet. I got the honey chicken bowl again. It is slightly too salty in general. Wasn't the first two times. First time getting chips and queso and this is pretty small for $5.99. The chips also is salty. I get a bigger size of queso for same price at Qdoda. Hope this salt level is fixed. Also, the website you get points if you order from but it's more expensive! It be nice to have an app where customers can order from and get points.. Also, workers need to focus on the task at hand. He ask me what I wanted and after every topping, turned to talk to a coworker in Native language. If you can't multitask, serve customer first and talk after! I been here twice this week! They just opened and the food is delicious! The quality, quantity and price is better than Chipotle. Earlier in the week I got the honey chipotle chicken bowl and it was so flavorful and tender. The first pic is of the honey chicken bowl. Tonight, I got the grilled chicken bowl which is the second pic. Both bowls were fresh and full! However, the grilled chicken was a little too salty as I ate more of it. I wanted to try the shrimp but the other day and tonight it was being made. I waited in the line for about 10 mins or so tonight and was informed it take 10 mins when it was my turn to order. I tried the tofu and it was tasty and would recommend to anyone who does not want or eat meat. I also got a tofu quesadilla. The paper bag ripped tonight from the side. The quesadilla box kept opening. Hopefully Adobo would get better quality of those down the line. Be sure to carry another bag as backup. A rewards system like Moe and Qdoda has would be nice! I would recommend Abodo and will return!

I got the chicken birria tacos and it stained my fingers from the amount of dye that was used to make the tacos look better. I washed my 3+ times afterwards and it still wouldnt come off. Regular turmeric and spices do not do this. Its disheartening that they use food coloring instead of leaving the food in its authentic state. That aside, the birria tacos were alright and i enjoyed the consome that came with it. I also got their burritos with their honey chipotle chicken that disappointed me. The chicken was too sweet and could use more of a savory flavor. It was also really soft, almost tasted like it wasnt cooked all the way through. Not my liking. This place has a lot of potential but needs to work on their flavor profiles and get rid of the unnecessary dyes.

As a first-time customer, I ordered two orders of beef steak tacos online and went to pick them up. I live 8 minutes away, and the app said the order would be ready in 10 minutes. We arrived about 20 minutes later, checked inside a bag before driving off. The woman who was in charge of making our order only gave us tortillas with nothing on it. We went back and showed them the bag with the receipt. And the woman was very unapologetic. Thankfully one of the guys that was there was very polite and concerned about their coworker's negligence. He apologized to us, remade our order and gave us two free sodas to make up for it which I really appreciate. The beef steak tasted great, but it was hard and cold, with little meat and a lot of diced tomatoes.

This is my second time ordering from this place through Uber eats, and I must say, my experience this time was disappointing. The first time, I ordered tacos, and they were fantastic—everything I wanted with great packaging and presentation. However, this time, I opted for nachos, and it was a complete disaster. The chips were thrown together with the toppings, resulting in a mushy mess by the time it reached my home.

I called the restaurant to express my concern, stating that I didn’t pay $20 for such a subpar meal. I suggested they should separate the chips from the toppings for takeout orders to ensure that customers can enjoy their nachos fresh and crispy, just as they should be. It’s a simple solution: put the chips in a separate bag or container so that customers can assemble their meal when they’re ready to eat.

The woman I spoke with on the phone mentioned that I would have to pay extra for additional chips, which completely missed the point. I was not asking for more chips; I was advocating for proper packaging of the dish itself. If this mushy mess was brought to someone at a table dining in, it would immediately be sent back.

I strongly recommend that you make it standard practice to separate chips from toppings to prevent this issue from happening in the future. I had a wonderful experience with the tacos previously, but due to this poor experience and the lackluster customer service, I will not be ordering from this place again. When a customer pays any amount for a meal, they expect a certain standard. This is...

I have had some of the freshest Mexican food form this Adobo restaurant. Flavorful, and great portions. The food is always fresh even at midnight! Great customer service.

There are some issues though, when they get busy and there is an issue with your order you can't reach anyone. (wIreceived the wrong order). We did fix it the next day (I showed them proof of my phone calls, actual pictures of the order, etc.) The store rectified the issue.

The Adobo website no longer uses Doordash only Uber Eats and Postmates BOTH of which does Pre-authorizations (charges double the amont of the order). Whether or not the charge will drop off in a few days is not the point. I order. I pay and get my food.

What is disappointing is that after speaking with the gentleman 5 times on Saturday and 1 time on Sunday we got different stories. I was told he opened the website again, it was very busy so we closed off Doordash, then it was wait 15 minutes then it was download the app. I was told other people were ordering from their website but for me it was only allowing the Pick-up option.

THe amount of money that I spend to order from Adobo is no joke and I am sad to have to let them go as...
