I am writing this comment to tell you about the bad experience my mother and our family had. I felt the need to elaborate! Because they called my mother and said that they would complain to the court about us because of the comments we made as a family!!! We go to Turkish restaurants a few times a month because, as Turks living in America, we miss Turkish food!NJ is our favorite place for Turkish restaurants and real Turkish food
My mother said that she would order Turkish lahmacun from Ali Baba Restaurant and cheese pide for my grandmother because we had guests. She traveled 40 minutes for this and we were very excited because Turkish lahmacun is very special to us. (Normal Turkish lahmacun is round, 7 in to 12 inches in size, has crispy meat and great flavor) What my mother brought was nothing like what we had eaten before. The worst part was that it had lots of onions and was sliced like pizza, and even the pizza had good slices. My mother called the restaurant and asked why they sliced their lahmacun, and the owner said that was their style Yes, this may be your style, but then you need to inform your Turkish customers about this situation since you are a Turkish restaurant. Because I think lahmacun has a standard.Because they were so rude to my mother, my mother didn't continue the subject and closed phone. Someone called and told my mother in a rude tone that the guy said; she needed to listen to him, when my mother tried to explain the situation, he did not let my mother talk and pressured her in a very rude tone that he said, needed to listen to!!! My mother got very angry and sad to him and hung up the phone. Yes, their lahmacun is not a real Turkish lahmacun, in our opinion! It had lots of onions and bell peppers, it was watery and the dough was very soft! It was a mix of pizza and pide dough, and it was really bad! We believed the comments on Google and wanted to try the lahmacun! Now we understand how they made the Google comments good! If they had just said "sorry" instead of all these threats, the problem wouldn't have gotten this big, and neither I nor my family would have made any comments. They ruined the dinner we had with our guests and also threatened to sue my mother for making these comments! This is a big mistake
I want to tell these restaurant owners that there is freedom of speech in the U.S.A. No matter who they are or what they do, people can comment on a business for food they don't like! That's why you can't threaten with court your customers! I think you should take these comments into consideration, and if you serve according to expectations, you will have more customers! I repeat, there is no Turkish lahmacun here! Yes, there is a lahmacun, but they do not sell lahmacun according to the Turkish palate, but according to the style of the restaurant owners!
and I don't need to tell you what kind of customer service they have because they threatened my mother...

While this may be a slight inconvenience, it's nothing that a repeat order can't fix. Trust us, the food is so tantalizingly good that you'll gladly order twice over.
Lastly, we must address that occasionally items may be forgotten by the kitchen. However, with Ali baba's mouth-watering food, it's practically impossible to hold a grudge. The flavors here will leave you in a state of bliss that makes it hard to be upset with anything.

Read moreAli Baba had been on my must-try list for a year, and we finally made it! It definitely lives up to the hype—authentic, delicious Mediterranean food. Every dish we tried was incredible.
For appetizers, I really enjoyed their lavash bread, and their white halal sauce was my favorite—I actually preferred it over their hummus.
Seeing their wood-fired pizza oven, we had to try a couple of pizzas. We ordered the Ali Baba’s White and the Doner Kebab pizza. Both were delicious, but we all agreed that the Ali Baba’s White was the standout. I don’t typically go for white pizza, but since one of our friends can’t eat marinara, we gave it a shot—and I would absolutely return just for that pizza. It was ooey, gooey, the onions added a perfect crunch, and the flavors were just 🤌🏼🤌🏼🤌🏼
I was craving a wrap, so I went for the beef wrap/dürüm, packed with beef, Ali Baba’s white sauce, and onions. The portion was huge, so I had leftovers for lunch the next day. My boyfriend enjoyed his mixed kebab dish as well.
The food was fantastic, and I definitely need to come back to try their baklava! I also loved that you could watch the staff cooking—especially the guy making the bread. There’s plenty of seating, and service was quick. Just keep in mind that parking is street-side only.
Can’t wait to...
