Rainbow Shops — Local services in Troy

Shopped this location this week. Been in retail for 20 plus years as a manger. I understand the hours, the productivilty, the protection of the inventory. But what is disturbing is the quality of the service. These young women have no sense of customer service. Leave the hood mentality at home. Rude...no sense of style, and showing pictures of men on their cell phones to another associate while that associate is CLEARLY servicing a guest. Then when the NEXT customer is in line....your example of your business yells out" NEXT IN LINE" As she rolls her eyes and has aggression in her voice. Where they do that at? RAINBOW IN...

The Rainbow is a great place, with a nice variety to choose from. Unfortunately, their sizes run small, so if you're a size medium, then go for large! Also, some if the fabrics are cheaply made and put together, so check your items for loose threads, small holes etc. There's no fitting room, either. So if something doesn't fit, you won't find out until you try it on at home. And unfortunately, you will have to return the items or exchange them, thus, making another unnecessary trip. I don't think I will ever go back. I went there looking for a shirt for concert. I found a cute couple shirts and went to the counter as the woman behind the counter was ringing on my clothes she proceeded to tell the girls behind me that there were no fitting rooms. After ringing up my total I presented my credit card she ran the card and then realize that the system wasn't working. I wasted 25 minutes only to be able to buy two shirts because I only had enough cash on me to get the two.
