Green Shell — Restaurant in New York

I live on Hoosick street and this is one of my go to spots for Chinese food, I've ordered from here multiple times and every time i have ordered the food was great. Example: fried chicken cook well never burnt or over cooked. Any of the fried rice always flavorful and pack with meat and veggies and they give a generous amount. Beef and broccoli and shrimp and broccoli are very tasty but just like most Chinese restaurant they will give you more veggies than meat. Overall I cant say the food has ever been nasty in my opinion that is I very much enjoy the food. Service wise they have good and bad days I always give them the benefit of the doubt because of the location and individuals they have to deal with on a day to day basis, the counter lady has been rude before to me but it never felt personal, came off as shes just over the day and tired of the people and want to go home. Again we are near the Ghetto so I can understand lol. Very rude! I ordered mixed steamed vegetables, shrimp eggroll, and white rice. But instead of having green bell peppers and onions and a little bit of broccoli it was nothing but broccoli broccoli broccoli.when I call to have them rectified my meal he instantly had an attitude and he said you didn't say if it was small and large my take on this matter is it shouldn't matter if it was small and large it should be mixed vegetables. so what happened to my steam bell peppers and onions along with the carrots mushrooms along other stuff but it is basically broccoli now I'm forced to eat this meal that I'm not happy with and I wasted my money. the guy hung up on me three times when I was just asking him if he could just give me less broccoli with the bell peppers and onions I just wanted him just to fix it but instead. Rarely do I give a place one star, but this place earned it. I went for lunch, it was not busy and I ordered the General Tso's chicken with white rice. Add a can of Pepsi and the total cost was $7. Not bad. The food arrived fast and hot and looked okay so I was hopeful. The counter women was not very friendly, but I was looking for a good lunch not a friend. The rice was terrible and tasted like instant rice. The chicken was awful and I actually spit it out (into my napkin of course) I bit into a few other pieces in case I had a bad one but they all were terrible. The flavor was not right at all.
