One, I received the wrong order (although what I ACTUALLY DID ORDER would've been more expensive), 2, the options that I entered that I needed were never included. 3) I called upon checking my order, a girl picks up.... In the middle of my explaining what's wrong (without notice) a guy gets on the phone, Screaming and arguing with me about whatever questions I had, tellingt me what's on there is what i ordered, I mentioned to him "because this was my first time using "Uber eats", I made sure I screenshoted my order" he just hung up the phone on me. Since this was an "Uber eats" order, he blamed EVERYTHING on uber, repeatedly telling me "well call Uber. "Ok, so u guys not adding utensils is Uber's fault too"... I attempted to call them yet again and twice more which led to them not answering the phone at all (yes, we all have caller ID).... HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE SERVICE AND TERRIBLE PEOPLE. I DON'T RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALLLLLLLLLLLLLLL. (and I was willing to work it out with their ignorant, non professional selves). Now I know. I feel bad for the owner. They charged me all types of wrong prices than what the menu said and continued to blame it on UBER. very unprofessional. Hope the owner is happy...    Read moreOrdered food from Mangia Healthy Kitchen in Staten Island and placed the order over the phone to a sarcastic man on the other end of the phone... My order came wrong AND missing items. After about 45 minutes without my food coming, I received a phone call from an extremely ANGRY delivery driver saying that I sent her to the wrong address... I corrected the address to the delivery driver who was still very angry. When the food came, the driver came into my place of work where I ordered the food to, and she came in yelling in the office demanding to know "who sent her to the wrong address"... Although I truly did not give them the wrong address... regardless of that I apologized because I understood it was an overall inconvenience. The driver responded with "do you know how much the tip was?!" Because the order was pre-paid for. After realizing I was not going to tip her more than I already did, she stormed off. THEN, about 15 minutes later I got a call from the manager of Mangia stating that I gave them the wrong address and that it was my fault they were backed up on orders because I "sent his driver over an hour out of the way".    Read moreVery frustrated with this restaurant. I ordered lunch form them using online ordering and never received a salad from the order a week and a half ago. I called the restaurant and asked to be refunded the cost of the salad. Instead of a refund I was charged again. I have now paid twice for a salad I never got. Spoke to them several times about this issue, and the owner blamed the online ordering system. Fair enough, but we are now a week and a half later with no refund.
I spoke to the owner almost a week ago and he swore he would call me back and refund me from his own till if he had to. Alas, I received no phone call, and have not yet heard back from him after calling to complain again. So in summation, I paid twice for an item I never got and he owner failed to follow up even though he promised he would.
I contacted the online ordering system and they got back to me the same day. They informed me the company never contacted them, and refunded me on the spot. I will never order from them again. I will happily give my hard earned cash to Better, which has good food and customer service. Shame on the owners of Mangia, for scamming a school teacher and then blaming a small business for...
