Edit: 3/21/2024. This was one the best mabrooma kunafa in NY. NOT ANYMORE!! I came here 9 months ago when the lebanese lady chef owner was in charge.. everything was fresh and delicious. NOW IT IS NOT GOOD... I came today and ordered a big tray as a gift, and it was horrible!!! Stale and not crunchy (see video) . Thick layer of kunafe and barely any pistachio inside, and no mabroma is served anymore!!!! Really waste of money .

When you only do one thing you better do it well and Antepli does it really well. Antepli specializes in baklava which is a sweet dessert popular around the Mediterranean. It’s made with layers of filo, chopped nuts and syrup. Crispy and flaky on the outside, chewy and nutty on the inside. And you don’t have to go all the way to Turkey to try some amazing homemade baklava. If you’re in the Bayridge area come and get it it!

I’ve been in love with middle eastern/Mediterranean cuisine for some time now, especially the baklava which is the desert portion for the most part. Particularly Turkish Baklava. I discovered this place on Instagram, when I found out they had a location in NYC I was stoked. Everything here is amazing. Every time I go there I try something new

I went there last Saturday, which is August 16, 2025 to get dessert for 40 bucks when I ended up using what I want she weighed them in front of me and then she went inside with the box to take some out and she get out with the box to to give it to me, when it’s not the same weight that she showed me the first time I didn’t notice when I were there because she was talking to me to make me not paying attention and then I realized after I go home that she did took some out, I will not recommend you guys buy from this place until you make her weight two times, I am so mad because she did that to me while I’m customer with her since five years ago,, also when she went inside to take some out, she said to me that the box is not closed that she has to add plastic around it, well the box is opened and can close by itself without plastic after she took out some::(( she smade me sad and mad of her doing that to me, but i’m not coming again to their store even if it’s my favorite store, but it’s fine. I don’t like the way how...

Been looking everywhere for some Turkish baklavas after trying them for the first time in Berlin, really glad to have finally found some here in Brooklyn where most other baklava joints I’ve tried carry the Syrian/non-Turkish kind.

I tried a few samples before proceeding to buy 2 pounds of the pistachio baklava ($14/lb)— Reema was very friendly and answered all my questions attentively. Not to mention she added on a couple of free samples 😊.

I think Antepli has just become my Baklava place in...

Their baklava quality went down over all. Just got a mixed box from them and over all the flavor is not good. Tasted very dry on top, and super soggy on the bottom , and lacked a lot of flavor as if it is not fresh. Even the ashta baklava had so much filling but the filling had no taste as if you’re eating a mix of cornstarch and milk, the only thing that made it sweet was the syrup that came on the side. Very expensive for the quality...
