When you step inside you will be greeted by an unique atmosphere with Victorian era decorations. Antique pieces, beautiful chandeliers, Mediterranean dishes and live jazz..

I really want to love this place BUT, food AND service are lacking big time. There is no live jazz or beautiful antiques that will make you look pass the mediocre food and very slow (almost careless) service.

To be fair, the cucumber Cosmo was pretty delicious and makes me want to go back and give this place as second chance as an after work sitting at the bar having a drink and maaaaybe an appetizer kinda chance

Food: Hummus: good but is hard to mess up hummus so no brownie points here Pasta dish: nothing special pretty much flavorless Prosciutto Pizzette: SKIP!! Do not spend $30 on a giant piece of flavorless cracker with some rucola and prosciutto on top (see pictures)

It was very disappointing as our main dishes were completely flavorless. I probably would be much better of having a rucola salad over some dry greens and prosciutto “wanna be flat bread”

We wanted to order dessert and another drink but our waitress never came back, seems like was just one server for the whole floor so maybe I can’t fault her for not doing a good job. Still, with the price tags they should be able to afford more than one server…

All in all IF I’m in the area with some time to spare, I would give it a try for the cocktails and Jazz but would not by any means rush back there.

It was a disappointing...

So the food was really good. And the atmosphere was really pretty. Even the server that we had was really nice. I’m not usually one to complain about service. I know that things take time to perfect. The reason why this rating is low is because at just around an hour and a half we were told that there was a table coming in shortly right after us. We had barely even started eating our dessert. Then the hostess came back over to us ( we hadn’t been brought our check) to say that the table is coming in five minutes. A few seconds after we paid the bill she came up to us saying that we really had to go which was just a bad customer experience.

Now I would understand this pressure if we had been there for an exorbitant amount of time, but to be rushed in such an expensive restaurant is not what I’m looking for especially when it is customary to provide a two hour turnover time for tables that are four people. We were out the door before it even hit two hours. I would even understand if the food came out super quickly to turn over the tables quicker, but the food came out at a fairly slow pace, which I was enjoying. Regardless, it seems to me that the staff needs to do a better job of scheduling their tables or at least advising the patrons of the time limit maximum. This truly left a negative impact on my feeling towards this restaurant, which I have been enjoying prior because the...

First, food was great. Two of us shared 3 mezes, then two small mains. Fresh, flavorful, beautifully served. But the experience was far less good. We were seated along long banquette, and my dinner companion ended up seated under a dripping air conditioner vent on the ceiling. It was dripping continuously. The cushion where he sat was wet, and there was a regular drip drip on his head.

We asked to be reseated — there were 5 or 6 unoccupied two person tables elsewhere in the room at that time. Their response: all of the other tables were booked for reservations later that evening, so they were unable to reseat us. It became clear that they knew about the problem when they seated us, but did so anyway.

I had to get slightly agitated and raise my voice to get a dry table, but they did eventually move us. Amazingly, they subsequently seated another couple at the drip table, who also had to demand to be moved.

From there, service was poor. We ordered a nice bottle of wine, which they opened and set to breathe on a nearby console. But when it was time to drink it, we had to go through gyrations to get our waiter to retrieve and pour it. And several other service snags along the way.

We’ll probably go back and try again, since the food was so nice. But the business with the drip and refusing to reseat us was inexcusable and tells you a lot about their...

This was a last minute dinner choice. Not really impressed by the service. But a 3.5 star experience. Pros: Atmosphere, Drinks, Dessert Cons: Vegetarian Dinner options, Loud Jazz Music and uncooked entrees When we made the reservation, we were told they would seat us downstairs basement due to full occupancy. When we arrived, 40% of the table in the main area were vacant. We had to ask to let us sit upstairs. The menu had very limited choices for vegetarians. So I would look for other restaurants if your entire crowd is Vegetarian. They also have a pasta option on the menu but there was no taste to it. Almost tasted something that you can make it home. Also the chicken skewers I ordered was a little uncooked. Could have been well done. The drinks were very well made. We ordered the Jalapeno Margarita and it was perfect and had a good kick out of it. Dessert: We got the Baklava and I am not exaggerating, but it was the best Baklava I have ever had. Totally worth ordering a second round.

I was in Tribeca last week with my friend for dining and Antique Garage Tribeca met and exceeded my expectations! Food: I ordered Tomahawk Steak along with coban salad, The steak was easily one of the best steak that I've ever had and definitely worth to try. It was medium cooked and its close to perfection. Juicy. Tomahawk Steak - 9.5/10 Service: Easily 10/10. Why? Waiters were always attentive, there was 2-3 of them who always swung by our table to refill our water, to make our napkin nice and asking if we need anything as courtesy so its a big plus. Service 10 out of 10!! Ambience It is unforgettable as this place is giving you a feeling that you are living in a Renaissance age 10 out of 10 In summary, this is a fine dining restaurant and the whole experience was well worth it and Antique Garage Tribeca is easily one of the best restaurants that I've ever been to. I would definitely return for future celebrations and gatherings.
