My family and I always love Auntie Anne’s pretzels so my review is not about the food. I am annoyed today because my dad wanted me to bring home pretzels and I went to the one downstairs right outside of Macy’s. What annoyed me was that I got cut in line TWICE!! Once by a family of about 4 and then by another woman. I like to be kind so I let that happen. Once it was my turn to be served, I was refused service and told to go upstairs while the lady working was on her phone. I should have said something but I don’t like to start drama and that’s why I didn’t say anything to the cutters. Also the second cutter had a few minute conversation with the worker which also annoyed me a bit but I’m glad the she at least apologized after taking all that time. Read moreHorrible experience. I am a new resident in NYC and while waiting for the ferry wanted to try the “famous” Auntie Ann. I noticed a promotion of a free pretzel when downloading the app and asked the very rude girl there about it and she responded that yes they have the promotion but it takes a long time to create the account (around 10 min). I said okay as I was really curious to try them. When I went to show her the promotion code after having completed the steps, she said: “I dont have dough and that would take extra 30 min”, while I could see the pretzels (many of them) ready. Read moreThe pretzels are delicious and the customer service was great, BUT that being said anytime I try to leave a tip I get told that corporate will not allow it??? That is ridiculous, I worked in customer service for years when I was in college and it is not an easy job being happy and dealing with multiple people daily. The person behind the counter should be able to get tipped for being polite and make the costomer's experience pleasant. The missing two stars are because of that, not because of the product...
