Great coffee, greater baristas - my mornings run on both. If you're looking for a cool spot that's more than just a place to grab caffeine, this is it. Sure, the coffee is top-notch, brewed with the kind of care that makes you want to savor every sip, and the limited food I've tried was fresh & delicious, but the real magic is behind the counter. The baristas here don't just serve coffee; they serve sunshine in a cup. Visits feels like catching up with friends who also happen to make phenomenal lattes. Even when the is a cafe packed with the local firemen, they're quick to greet you with a smile and once in a while a perfectly timed Spanish Latte before I've even ordered is just the bit of encouragement that somehow makes even a rainy Monday feel like a good day, leaving you feeling a little lighter, a little happier, and a lot more caffeinated.

It was my first time coming to this place with the JCC crew. It turns out this place doesn't serve meat because it's a vegetarian Cafe. We went into the back and we found chairs and tables with a bunch of decorative plants all around us. I ordered the vegan potato egg and cheese with avocado in a wrap 🌯 🥔 🍳 🧀 and a blueberry muffin 🧁🫐 all of it equaled out to $12.75 plus tax was $15. They do have these chocolate drinks that was like $2. I wanted to order one but the person in the group I was with was distracting and I didn't have any time to try and get it. It was a bit of a letdown because I didn't really feel full. I might have to come back here for The full experience because my first visit to be honest wasn't a peaceful one. 😒

Craving Avocado Toast? Then you’ve got to try Bloom Cafe! Their version, with pickled onions, pumpkin seeds, and radish, is absolutely delicious. Now, I’ve never been a radish fan, but my goodness, it works! I went back for my second trip because, well, I'm pregnant, and when I crave something, I *need* it immediately. And let me tell you, they did not disappoint! Consistency is hard to come by on Staten Island, but Bloom Cafe nails it. They use fresh ingredients and make food with integrity, so I hope they keep this up. I haven't even tried anything else on the menu because that avocado toast has its hooks in me. I’m officially a fan and will definitely be back. Cheers to cravings and amazing avo toast! 🥑

I have not written a review for a couple of months because my mother always taught me if you have nothing nice to say, don't say it. Well, I'm going to say it because now I'm beyond annoyed and I believe that the public deserves to know the quality of customer service that this establishment thinks is tolerable. My sister lives about a 10 minute walk from this coffee shop and I have visited about 3 times in the past year. The last time being Thanksgiving. My husband and I stayed about a 3 minute walk from the coffee shop and it was perfectly on the way to my sister’s house. I stopped at the shop Wednesday and Saturday around Thanksgiving, maybe even 2x on one day. Between those 2 days about $40 was spent. Now, I love a good cup of coffee but these prices are so far from reasonable it's not even funny. My coffee is over $6 and yes it's good, but it's not $6 good. I live in Orlando and I go to whole foods to get an oat milk latte for $3 and it's actually better, so you aren't paying for quality. I think you're paying for their rent. Which would be fine in theory if the owners, Danielle & Linda were grateful for your business. Every time I have come into this shop the owners look like they have something up their you know what. They are unhappy, ungrateful and unaccommodating. My sister comes into this shop several times a week, maybe my expectations were set too high, but i Just expected her to be treated with a little more kindness. My coffee shops in Orlando know me by name and make me feel appreciated - I genuinely love my experiences each and every time. That is not what you get at Bloom. I have suggested that my sister stop giving this establishment business however she loves Rose, and Rose is VERY sweet so she has kept on going and giving them business. My sister told me recently that she tried to give Danielle and Linda some feedback about how she feels and that they completely shut it down. Now I'm not from NY, but I own a business, and if one of my customers were to give me feedback I would be eternally grateful. It seems like these ladies have some growing up to do. It's a real shame that my sister doesn't have a DECENT coffee shop within walking distance. This place is filled with RUDE owners and overpriced coffee. I wouldn't...

Such a cute little cafe!! Highly recommend. I’ll be raving about this for the rest of the year!! Service was great!! All the ladies working on Sunday (8/18/2024) were so kind and lovely. They even brought me my food to the table, I was not expecting that kind of great service! (Most small cafes is wait at the register and grab it yourself). The one lady told me “no sit I’ll bring it to you” I was like “oh !! Food was excellent that egg potatoe wrap was so tasty and filling. I only ate half because it was so filling, I saved the rest for later. The blondie cookie was even better then it looked. The coffee was fresh and strong. (Too bad they didn’t have the pumpkin flavor I guess I’m just early and overly excited for the fall lol) The bloom ice tea (I forgot what it was called) was extremely refreshingly for a hot summer day, I should have gotten a 24ounce. I even got a bottle water, even that was so smooth, never had water that tasted like a million dollars. Everything was brought out to us extremely fast. Pricing was great, for a small business in the boroughs it’s tough to find something that doesn’t cost an arm and a leg. I gave a nice tip. I should have tipped more!!! The decor was super cute. I wanted to spend all day there, or even decorate my house like bloom cafe . I definitely “took it up with bloom cafe” today!! And I suggest everyone walk in and “take it up with...

To start this place is BARELY open they close super early and some days they aren’t even open at all so I stopped recommending it because it’s closed more than it’s ever open. The owner is always sitting at a table with a grumpy attitude isn’t friendly or welcoming which is disappointing. The coffee is okay but definitely overpriced and the food is always COLD and I mean ice cold … alwaysss especially in the center of the baked goods. Overall it truly isn’t worth going to it’s overpriced and just meh when it comes to food especially for the price. It’s the same food you can make at home when compared to other coffee shops

UPDATED REVIEW: Clearly as you can see how the business responded … Grumpy is the perfect word.. l actually can think of a better word but I’ll have manners unlike you… You are grumpy every SINGLE time and a lot Of the people in the neighborhood agree so if the shoe fits … Also I did tell the staff both times that it occurred but instead of apologizing I was met with annoyance .. instead of responding in an immature way maybe you should take constructive criticism but Heyy what do I know… let’s see how long you guys stay in business with that kind of attitude and I’ll make sure to share to my followers on social media....
