Blendzville Cafe — Restaurant in New York

I came in hungry and ready to get my work done, so I ordered the Mama Gaston smoothie and the Vegan Burger with a side of half sweet and half regular potato fries. The smoothie was so delicious! The lychee really came out in this spinach, banana, pineapple, lychee smoothie. The Mama Gaston smoothie is now one of my favorites. Everything about the veggie burger was well-seasoned and juicy; nothing was dry or carelessly added. When ordering, I forgot to say no onions, as I am not a fan of raw onions, but they sauteed and seasoned the onion slice, making the burger taste even more flavorful. Plus, I was given a side of sauce that really elevated the taste of my seasoned fries. Each item I had exceeded my expectations. The customer service here is also wonderful - they are very kind and welcoming. I finished everything quickly and forgot to take a photo which is rare for me. If I could give this business 0 stars I would. I walk in and it looks closed. There's a guy there and I'm asking if there's a menu but he looks like a customer. He hands me the menu and I'm looking at it and it's falling apart. A lady walks in and goes behind the counter doesn't greet my or anything. I decide to take my money else where. Some guy standing outside having a full blown convo asks me what did I want? At first I ignored him. He then says 'I'm the owner what did you want?' Clearly he lacks customer service because who talks to a potential customer that way. What business owner lets a potential customer walk into their establishment and doesn't greet them knowing there's no staff at the counter. Please save your...

This was my first time pulling up to this place since it seems to be the closest smoothie spot near my house. Online it says they open at 9am on Saturdays. Cool. Get there at 930am and they're closed. I call while I'm standing outside just to make sure no one is there. Nothing. Super annoying.

I decided to give Blendzville another try and I am so glad I did. The moment I walked into the door I was met with such kindness by who I assume to be the owner, Pascale. I didn't order any food so I can't speak to that but the smoothie I got was delicious, more than reasonable in price and he even offered a discount for following them on Instagram!
