Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in New York

I recently ordered from this location off the Papa Johns app for delivery. On the app it said my food was delivered, so I went downstairs to get it, but it wasn't there. I called the store to let them know, the lady said that their system was glitches and that my food did not leave the store yet they was still waiting on their delivery driver to return there. So about 30 minutes later, still no food, I called the store they said the guy called me 4 times and couldn't get in touch.( I DOUBLE CHECKED MY PHONE, HE DID NOT CALL AT ALL.) so they said he will bring it again in 15mins. So I went and stood downstairs for almost 20 mins, the guy did not show up, I called the store again and they had the same excuse as before, and that he was going to try again. Again, no show. I called, this time a man answered the phone, he said the driver had to return to the store because of the snow, remind you it wasn't snowing yet. So I said leave the pizza there I'll come and get it. I go to the store to get my food, everyone was just standing around doing nothing,, the food was cold, they only refunded me $5 when my food was originally $34. I told them that if they didn't want to deliver to the address that was provided which is in Crown Heights, they could've said that instead of waisting 2 whole hours of my time. Worst service ever!!!!

I ordered online to pick up pizza at the 8 sutter ave papa john store #2950 on 2/01/18 at approximately 9pm. I accidentallly left my debit card on the computer table at home because I used my card to pay for the pizza online.

When I arrived to the store for the pick up, the man at the register asked for my name and the debit card.

I told him my name and told him I forgot my debit card home. So he asked for my ID and I gave it to him.

He immediately called his manager who looked at my ID and basically interrogated me, asking if it was my first time purchasing there and etc.

After an intense debate about if I ever purchased at the store. I immediately responded and said, “you got my ID which is the same name and addressed on the debit card used, so you think I’m some type of scammer?”

He replied “it’s policy, but I’m going to give you the pizza”

He made it seems like he was doing me the favor as if he didn’t have to give me the pizza I paid for.

I am definetly not be ordering from there ever again.

If i could give it minus stars I would. I ordered pizza last week during the winter story and was told that i would get the pizza in an hour and a half to 2 hrs which was understandable. I never received the pizza and ended up ordering from DOMINOES which had no problem getting my pizza to me in less than an hour. I called the next day for a refund and was told I would hear from a manager 3 days later they said the same thing. I then went to fb to lodge a complaint as they hate bad reviews but especially on social media and got the two responses that you see in attached photos. Since then i haven't heard from the owner, the fb page admin. or the store so basically they are out here stealing peoples money. I counted and collected 6 complains so far similar to mine and will be looking...
