⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely Outstanding – A Hidden Gem on the Hudson!
Bluestone Lane at Chelsea Piers is one of those rare NYC spots that gets everything right — from the view to the vibe to the vanilla flat white. Nestled right on Pier 62, it’s the perfect mix of laid-back Australian café culture and classic New York energy.
The moment you walk in, you’re greeted by a warm team that actually seems happy to be there — something you don’t always find in Manhattan coffee shops. The space is airy, sunlit, and opens up beautifully to the water — making it ideal for a relaxing coffee, a quick lunch, or just a peaceful break from the city chaos.
The food is fresh and vibrant — the Chicken Avocado Toastie is world-class (crispy toast, perfectly ripe avo, and that touch of cheese with dill). Their smoothies are top of the line. My favorite is the Blue Bondi, a tropical smoothie that enhances all your taste buds and keeps you asking for more. Every dish feels thoughtfully made, not rushed.
And the coffee? Exceptional. Smooth, rich, and consistently crafted with care — Bluestone’s signature espresso is unmatched, and their flat white could go toe-to-toe with any café in Melbourne.
Whether you’re a local out for a morning run along the Hudson or a visitor looking for a scenic, high-quality café experience, Bluestone Lane Chelsea Piers is a must. It’s easily one of the most enjoyable café experiences in the city — a place where the food, the people, and the view all come together perfectly.

Read moreEvery time I go here, I vow to not go back. I think today’s experience will finally keep me to my word.
The main issue was that I ordered a breakfast burrito for myself and a smoothie for my son, and it took 40 minutes for the smoothie to arrive. By that point, I had fully finished my lunch. Upon my increasing inquiries about the whereabouts of the smoothie, the server was kind enough to offer… zero explanation, exasperation at my questions, implication that I ought to be thankful that they had asked the kitchen on my behalf, and eventually 25% off the smoothie.
This is all par for the course for this place that I can only guess has a sweetheart deal with the Hudson River Park and doesn’t actually have to turn a real profit or something.
It’s always entirely unclear how to dine in at this place. There is no host, so you’re supposed to seat yourself. The QR codes on the table say to order through them, but actually a server may or may not come by and let you know that you’re actually supposed to order through the server. While this all may feel minor, you always end up with a bunch of confused people milling about in the small entranceway because nobody can figure out whether they’re supposed to wait in line to order at the counter, wait for a host, or go find a table, and because it’s always so crowded everybody thinks everybody else is already in a line.
I’ll leave it to you to extrapolate from my issues to the quality of the entire...
Read moreBluestones place are relatively new in this location, and a great healthy addition to Chelsea piers enormous sport terminals. The menue choice is family and friends oriented: fresh, tasty, allergies cautious, and the other wonderful thing that they indicate on every sales receipt, is that the food will be out within minutes. I believe that good team is built by good management and this place definitely has a great one. Everyone is very friendly, helpful, and they are genuinely concerned what is happening on the plate. We found our take outs or eat in orders and coffees always well presented visually. Right. The coffees should have separate paragraph, because here we agree with the previous raves- absolutely delicious and very well made by the baristas.
Place is very clean modern look, lots of comfortable space to fit in any size company. Very COVID cautious: offering outside pick up, online ordering (gotta try it, every time works like clock), inside touch screen order and every table has scan greed menue, that order goes directly to the kitchen when you scan it. I think this place is to stay among...
