Bluestone — Restaurant in New York

One of my rarest 1 star review.

First, I placed the order fast, ticket number 1, I ordered 3 hot dogs and 4 sliders and some drinks. I went and sit down to wait for the food. 30 min later I go and ask the manager why is my order taking so long, she said she doesn’t cook the food but she seemed empathetic. I asked if they’re cooking the food, she said yes, all the food orders are being cooked. Meanwhile I get my drinks. Another 10 min passes by and my food is not coming, so she’s asking for my ticket. Goes back to the line and asks the cooks about my order. None of them had my ticket in the back, they probably tossed it. Only then they started cooking my food, had to wait another 15 min, (55 min total for 3 hot dogs and 4 sliders). Everyone there was waiting for their food; some people even asked for a refund and left. I had a 5yo that needed food. After that I asked one of the workers behind the counter for some mayo packets, he looked at me and completely ignored me. I had to ask the manager for a couple of mayo packets. It seemed that the manager was the only worker there who actually cared about their job, all the other employees were completely absent.

All of these and I paid a ridiculous amount of money. $18 for a hot dog with fries. Unbelievable!

Now the biggest problem was when I got home. I got severe stomach cramps and started vomiting. I realized that I got food poisoning and it was bad. This is the first time as long as I can remember where I got such a severe food poisoning.

Bad service, bad food and extremely expensive.

I don’t recommend eating at...

I would give this place zero stars if I could. The customer service is appalling. I've lived in NYC for a long time and it's the worst I've ever encountered.

The young woman behind the counter didn't look up from her phone when I stepped up to order. I waited quietly for a little bit before saying, "Hi, is this where I order?" Without looking up she replied, "Yeah, I'm listening." Seriously? I asked for an iced coffee, she walks over and is pouring it, and asks if I want room for milk. I say that I do. She glances over at me and proceeds to fill the cup to the very top. Didn't look at me again throughout the rest of the transaction.

On top of all of this, there were cleaning supplies out everywhere, including in proximity with food, etc. My friends also had bad experiences when they went in separately later.

I feel like they need to either hire people who have even the smallest capacity for politeness or else do some serious customer service training with...

I came here with my friend and ordered veggie tacos. The tacos ended up being nearly all mushrooms, which I can’t have, but regardless. I brought this up to the kind employee and she offered a substitution. She said it was no big deal and would be ready in a few minutes. I waited another 5 minutes and went back up.

However, in the meantime, the manager saw the order and came over to the counter. She began yelling and insulting me in front of everyone. This went on for several minutes, as if I were stupidest person on earth for thinking veggie wouldn’t have mushrooms. She also tried to get the kind employee in trouble for trying to be accommodating. I complemented the employee but just left without any food in a rush to get away.

Most of the games were also broken. The waiter staff was spectacular, but management is horrible....
