I had the pleasure of trying Bocao recently, and it was an absolute treat! The empanadas were out of this world – perfectly crispy on the outside, with a warm, flavorful filling that had the perfect balance of spices. The variety of options was impressive, from savory beef to chicken and more much.

But what really stole the show was the chimi and natural juices, If you’re a fan of bold flavors, this is a must-try. The sandwich was packed with juicy, well-seasoned meat, fresh veggies, and a sauce that added the perfect kick. The flavors were incredibly authentic, and it felt like a true taste of the Caribbean.

I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant, primarily due to the service at the front from the lady. Both times I visited, I received an insufficient amount of sauce for the number of empanadas I ordered. On my second visit, I politely requested extra sauce, only to be told that I had already been given enough.

Rather than addressing the issue calmly or explaining if there was an extra charge for additional sauce, the staff member responded by raising her voice, which was both unnecessary and unwelcoming. A clear and courteous communication about any extra charges would have resolved the situation easily.

Additionally, the food quality was lacking. As someone else mentioned, the empanadas tasted like potted chicken, which was disappointing.

Overall, the confrontational attitude made the experience unpleasant. Customer service should prioritize making patrons feel welcome and respected.

Tuve una experiencia decepcionante en este restaurante, principalmente debido al servicio de la señora en la entrada. En ambas ocasiones que visité, recibí una cantidad insuficiente de salsa para la cantidad de empanadas que pedí. En mi segunda visita, pedí amablemente más salsa, pero me dijeron que ya me habían dado suficiente.

En lugar de abordar el problema con calma o explicar si había un cargo adicional por más salsa, el miembro del personal respondió levantando la voz, lo cual fue innecesario y poco acogedor. Una comunicación clara y cortés sobre cualquier cargo adicional habría resuelto la situación fácilmente.

Además, la calidad de la comida dejaba mucho que desear. Como mencionó alguien más, las empanadas sabían a pollo enlatado, lo cual fue decepcionante.

Must say the older gentlemen with gray hair is very friendly. The younglady preparing food was also friendly & seem to enjoy what she was doing although we had many request she didn't mind at all. Will definitely return whenever I can. My friend makes a trip there at least 4x a week & they give her a big smile with each purchase of the Lamb & Chickem meal with mozzarella cheese sticks. My plate if food was delicious but I 4got to snap a photo it was good...next...
